Switching types of opiates often to defeat withdrawels

Just wondering if a person could maybe take OC's(60 mg's per day) for a while then take subs for a couple of weeks then maybe take trams for a day or two then OC's for a day or two to defeat WD's. Could that be possible??? Could a person defeat WD's by alternating between different opiate types frequently??? tryed the search engine with no luck...maybe I used the wrong phrases
 
It's not defeating it.. it's just prolonging the withdrawal. You're still taking opiates regardless of the type.
 
yeah...that's what I figured(damn it)8)...what would u guys say is the easiest to overcome...maybe I could take trams for like 3 or 4 days and get off of those
 
hahaha...why do u think it relieves the WDs, cuz ur taking another opiate

opiates an opiate, they all do BASICALLY the same thing

oxycodone WDs can be stopped with hydrocodone, vise versa...

withdrawls are from ur brain needing the opiate receptors to be filled with opiates (lame mans terms)..if ur get the opiates, ur taking the WDs away but ur addiction is not getting any better, its getting worse..

i understand whjat ur doin

ur trying to figure out a way to take opiates so much without needing to worry about withdrawls

listen, if u take opiates, ur going to go into withdrawls, theres NO WAY around it

yeah and then tram wihtdrawals are even worse mentally than most opiates...

u gotta let us know what and how much u were taking for us to help u at all
 
Ya you can take Tram to hold off WD's i do it alot if i run out and cant find subs or anything.....

For example i got the tolerance down to about 80ish MG a day and if i take 300-400MG of Tramadol during the day (taken at least in 2 dosing, get some gabapentin if you can it mixes well to help WD's) it kills my WD's

well I was on 60 -80 mg's of OC per day, then I went from 4mg of subs down to 2 mg's for a week and then the last two days I took something like 1 mg p/d. Started to get sick through the night and took 200mg's of tram the next day, then 100 mg's today...about 8 hrs later I was miserable. I'm pretty sick right now but nothing like my old H habit(3 yrs clean then relapsed on some percs for a while) I've got work, school, and a kid. I'm gonna take some percs tomorrow hopefully but maybe I need to go see the sub doctor and when I get a break from college I need to go check in to rehab for a couple weeks...I dunno but I def regret forming a habit again. I should have just got high for a day and then chilled for a few days
 
u dont really need a sub doctor...how long hav u been using?

lol not ur hole life story but how long (since ur last relapse) have u been using, how often too

60mgs a day....u could probably just wean off with oxycodone (percs)..u could jump to probably 30-40mg and be fine, and wean from there...fuck the subs, u dont need subs for such a low amount, ull just get addicted to the subs and need to wean from them
 
thanks...I'm so mad at myself. I know it's wrap when I realize the high is not worth all the extra bullshit. I hate meetings but I need to go somewhere for a little bit to clear everything up. If not I'll prob end up being forced to go somewhere and think about things on a flat mattress w/ my bunky Bubba!
 
ok then try just jumping to 40mg, or as low as u can tomrrow...

wean by 5-10mgs every 2-7 days, ...u should be off in either 2 weeks or a month...if u dont got the money, just go cold turkey...

suboxone is worthless , itl cost u the same price as using but takes a lot longer to wean, especially if YOU YOURSELF dont know what to do and just listen to doctors
cuz most doctors start off patients at way too high of a dose, thus increasing the addiction, making it longer to wean

oh for sure...Doc gave me 8 mg right off the bat and I started taking 4 right away. Nice way to save a little cash though, yeah I guess I should try weaning. If I can't get the will power togethor then it's off I go to a grimy rehab...

at ur habit, ud need no more than 2 mgs

idk how old u are, wht ur situation is

but to get clean, u need to want it bad..."if i cant get the will power together..." thats not a good start

yeah ur right man...thanks. I'm close to 30 and this shit needs to end. I've been in some dark places and I'm terrified that I'm heading back. I checked through this supposed "hood" today to see who was out...that's bad. I guess luckily I didn't see anybody official looking. I mean, I used to live on the streets all between Trenton and Camden, Jers. Worst times of my life. I can do this, but I need to get away from psychotic girlfriend and her habit for a little bit too. know what I mean? =D

I believe jumping from one opiate to another is common with us. WDs are such a bitch, we'll do almost anything to prevent or postpone 'em.

Subs are a fairly good alternative. Easy to come by, etc. I believe you should be at a really low dose, with going from only 60mg of OC. Subs are super strong, long lasting pills.

If you want off of OC completely, I would suggest CT. I have never been able to taper, and always have came off of 'em from say 150-250mg. First 3 days are hell, but it get's better after that.

I really don't think there is any easy way off. At least that's my experience.
