Delsym Cough Syrup

I want to do an extraction on delsym. I've only tried DXM hbr but I'm sick of the syrups and this extraction looks a lot simpler. I'll end up with 888mgs from the bottle I have. I usually take up to 500mgs of DXM Hbr, will 888mgs of the polistirex be enough? If I add a 3oz bottle to it I'd end up with 1.42 grams of DXM polistirex. Would 1.42 grams be over doing it?
 
Water. This is the recipe I found, I hope it's legit.

Materials Required:
-Delsym Cough Suppressant containing DXM Polistirex (Two 3oz bottles)
-Plastic gallon milk jug
-Tap water
-Razor knife

What you do:
1) First clean and empty the gallon milk jug, warm water helps a lot, just rinse it out nicely.

2) Then pour all of the syrup into the jug, every drop. Now you're going to fill the rest of the jug with water, about 3/4 the way full.

3) Tighten cap, and shake hard. Then let sit for approx. 2 hours. Some say more, but I found 2 hours to be very sufficient enough.

During this time the water will separate the DXM Polistirex from the syrup itself, and a nice collection of DXM powder will begin to stick to the bottom.

4) Now be very careful to not shake up everything again, but you must now empty the water and left over syrup. I found it easiest to bring the jug to a sink or bath tub. What you're going to do now is remove the cap for air pressure, and using your razor splice little horizontal lines starting at the top of the jug. This will slowly empty the jug without disturbing the DXM powder at the bottom.

5) When you reach the bottom, the jug should be almost empty of water, leaving a nice puddle of DXM sludge at the bottom of the jug, cut off the entire top of the jug so you can have a nice 'tray' to work with.

What some do is pour what's left into a drink and kick it back. This works, of course, but I like to dry the powder out and place it into capsules..

To do this, all you need to do is let the tray with the powder dry out. I found it easier to place the tray into a wood dresser drawer, because this seems to dry it out very VERY fast.

Once it's dry, you will see you have made DXM powder! Now just scrape it all off and there you have it! You can order empty pill capsules online, and fill them each with the powder, creating nice little trip pills if you choose.

I have done such a ridiculous amount of DXM and I have gotten huge farts, but thankfully I have never come close to such a thing.

That method really does work well. The simplicity of it has led to me ingesting polistrex over hbr before, and it is pleasant even though it tends to slam you a bit less. (I have also noticed a longer afterglow with polistrex.)

I always believed a cold water extraction would work. Now i know. Thanx all.
 
i dont think you can snort or smoke dxm. 111 °C (232 °F) dxms melting point pretty high. Though i do believe you can plug it. enema??

i tried smoking cz but its too harsh. And im pretty sure i diddnt get high.
 
^ DXM is really an oral only chemical imo, and I am up for just about whatever efficient method of ingestion under appropriate circumstances.
 
The extraction method you posted, bluelightdotcom, definitely works and is the best bet, except I'd highly recommend using an empty 2-liter soda bottle rather than a milk jug. The DXM polistirex sits nicely in the cupped 'nipples' that the 2-liter bottle stands on, plus you can just poke a hole near the bottle and let the cough syrup/water mixture almost completely drain while the DXM remains untouched. Then, just cut off the bottom-most part of the 2-liter and spoon the DXM out of each nipple.
 
Sounds just like succrets extraction. and just what i though. Let us know how it goes. I wouldnt put into microwave after ive extracted just because i dont know how the "plastic" will react. Its made to be digested, i would do that. Extract in cold water. Eat whats left over.
 
Just buy pure dxm powder online. Why oh why people bother with extractions and is beyond me

And no, you can't snort it, you'll destroy your lungs. You don't get high off DXM, you get high off DXO which is the result of DXM traveling through your digestive system. Don't snort, plug, inject, put it in your eyes or any other stupid shit. Just eat it and you'll be fine.
