Opioids When to stop completely?

I actually am not taking suboxone at this time. I stopped about a week ago to take another break. Like I have said before, i am not addicted to it in any way and I often take breaks from it.
The reason I still take it even though im not an addict anymore is because it gives me energy, acts as the best anti-depressant i have ever tried, and also gives me some euphoria. I have explained this many many times, if you do a search you can see my reasons as to why i still take suboxone.....im not hiding anything, nor am i addicted to it. I appreciate the concern, but i guarantee you that im not in denial or anything. I really dont understand why so many people have a problem with me just because I have figured out a way to take a medication without becoming addicted to it, and yet, still get beneficial effects from it. Why cant you just accept that?

Like I said before, I take breaks from my suboxone all the time, and sometiems for very long periods of time. It makes the energy boosts that much stronger when i finally do start taking it again. i sry that you think Im in "misery" just because im on suboxone. that is the exact mindset that im trying to get people out of. Why is everyone who chooses suboxone to get off of opiates doomed? there not. and there are many people on this website even that chose the correct way to maintain and taper off this medication so they werent in horrible pain. If you cant understand that, then im sry but please dont accuse me of something thats not true.
If I was truly addicted to suboxone and in denial about it, how could I be able to take weeks off from taking it any time I want? How come my life is so much more productive and im so much happier and have so much more energy? Its because I have found a way to take this medication that works good for me and keeps me from becoming dependent. Im guessing that your attitude towards me stems from some sort of resentment for the fact that I have figured out how to maintain with no withdrawals or seomthing?? I really dont know. But you are welcome to think what you want to think, but just in case you want to listen to reason........im not addicted to suboxone. I show no signs of addiction to my suboxone. Therefore there is no evidence of addiction. Please stop saying things that are false.
I try to help people by giving them advice based on what I have learned. This advice has allready helped many many poeple. If you have a problem with that, you can PM me, or report me to the moderators. Dont treat me like shit on an open forum because im trying to help people.
I hope you learn to live a happier life, and consequently, treat people better. Good luck.

In MY OPION you are in no way helping someone when you offer up the idea of suboxone. YOu are pushing the idea which is wrong. his Question is not about should he get on subs it was when to jump off oxys cuz he is strong enough to taper down with it. SO In effect I just wish you wouldnt be pushing the idea of subs to people who didnt ask a damn thing about it. he even has said he is not trying to get on subs and already said no to the idea yet you still kept going with the idea of it... ANyway I am sorry i said something on a forum, I am not calling you out. Im calling out ur IDEA of pushing subs on people who didnt want ti. to me i pretty much dont think ur trying to help people when u push the idea of subs when that wasnt something they wanted or asked of you..

and I dont have anything ageinst you as a person. I dont know you. I have somthing ageinst you pushing suboxone on people thats about it. And to a degree hate how ur a know it all. but thats neither here nor there. you will post away all day and discredit the things people say. but one day u will relize just because u have all the posts doesnt mean ur right. but I would like to personally thank you for always taking your time to reanwser and anwser the questions that have already been asked and anwsered. it saves alot of people alot of time and people get to learn how to not use the search bar on the forum ... THANK YOU JAMESBROWN... LIKE convert says MY GODFATHER hahah

Im not "pushing" anything. Im giving adive. I can guarantee you that im not holding anyones arm behind there back forcing them to take suboxone. I simply give them the information, and they choose to do what they want. We are talking about adults here, not babies. If they dont want to take suboxone, they dont have to.....if they learn something new that they didnt know before about suboxone from me and decide to actually try it, then thats still there choice. Im not lying to anyone, im giving out information. And im sry you have a problem with that so much that you try to twist what I say to the point where your accusing me of "pushing wrong ideas".
Once again, im sry you feel the need to act so negatively to other people. I also feel its kind of ironic that you automatically dropped the issue of me being a suboxone addict, which you were so adamently and rudely "pushing" on everyone a few minutes ago, right after I explained that I wasnt even taking suboxone right now. Maybe you should make a solid decision on what your going to try to argue/prove/complain about/whatever, before you go about it, because you come across as just trying to pick any fight you can....and when one of your arguments is shot down, you simply focus your attention on the next one.
Please stop being so negative. Once again, im not pushing anything on anyone, im not forcing anyone to do anything, were all adults here, asking questions, and giving answers, and if you cant handle that without treating people respectfully and not accusing them of being an addict or whatever, then please stop posting.

I know you're trying to help James, and we are all happy for you being content with where you are with your subs.... but i must say I agree with subutexman, in most sub threads you push suboxone hardcore, and while it may be a good solution for some people(such as you), its not for everyone and you shouldn't try to push it so hard. Just a thought, no offense.

once again, giving information is not pushing something. these people are free to do what they want, and me explaining to them details about suboxone is in no way pushing it on them. The only person who can "push" a drug onto them is either a doctor, or soemone with a gun to there head.
Im sry you think im forcing people to do things. And if you disagree with what I say, then dont follow my advice, its that simple. There are tons of people who give out advice that I dont completely agree with but I dont sit here and clog up forums telling them that they are "pushing" things on people. Because they arent. they are just giving advice. The only thing I call people out on is if they state something as fact that isnt fact. Thats it. Even if I dont agree with someones advice, I dont bitch at them about it. Nor should you.

You're regurgitating the same info over and over not only in this thread(when the guy has said he is clearly not interested in subs) but also in every other bupe thread on this forum. It would be one thing if you mentioned it once, but when you keep bringing it up OVER and OVER it gets old to everyone, and "clogs" up these forums moreso than anything else. James, you have a hard time admitting when you are wrong, even when everyone with an outside perspective is telling you, you just refuse to accept it.

actually, the only time I talk about subs is when somebody asks me about them or asks about a situation they are in where subs could help, or play some part. Thats all....i guarantee you I would have been banned a long time ago if I just kept talking about suboxone over and over again for no reason. I "regurgitate" the same info because no one seems to know how to use the search function. there are constantly new members coming on BL and asking shit about suboxone thats i have explained a thousand times. I cant help that, even though i try by telling them to use the search function....and then im treated like im being an asshole for saying that. what the hell do you people want?
Once again, if you dont like my advice, dont follow it....you really need to stop this because its gotten to the point where all your doing is clogging the threads with OFF TOPIC posts.
Now....does anyone have any questions regarding harm reduction?...or anything similar?

I find it sad when everyone notices something about someone, they try to point it out to help him, but the sad individual refuses to believe it.

Atleast we tried.

thank you for trying but im perfectly happy and therfore, dont need "help"....can we get back on topic now please?

Sure, lets just wait for him to post again asking for advice you so can ram the low does suboxone down his throat. The funny part is that I agree with your advice for the most part, I just don't like to see it repeated over and over when the guy is clear not interested. That's all ill say on the topic though. Back to helping OP.
