Stimulants Weird body odor on amphetamines

I asked my friends who have taken amphetamine/Damphetamine about this and none have shared the same experience cept one and he said 'it doesn't always happen" and also the way he said that made it seem like he wasnt sure really.

When I am on any form of amphetamine(except mdma if that counts) and speeding decently hard after about 3+Hours my body starts to give off a more chemically body oder than the usual typical smelly human smell bo.
It is weird.Even if I spent the whole time or most of the time sitting down,reading and/or writing,playing games or whatever activity that doesn't require physical effort at all really I still get this weird body odor after a few hours.

It smells like typical BO except that like I said before it has a more so chemically smell to it..That's the best way i can describe it.

Has anyone else here experienced this and/or does anyone have any insight as to why this is happening to me when I am on amphs?
Even after I shower I can smell a very light chemical smell in my armpit region.
It stays with me for about 20 hours I'd say.

the lack of washing and regular meals and intake of water I believe is the cause of this.
The following was an experiment that I set myself to do whilst on a binge and it seems to have worked in reducing the strength of the smell, and my general well being, as well as comedowns are easier.

i find the best way to combat the amp BO is to take at least 2 showers per day whilst on a binge, make sure you wash your crotch and armpits thoroughly with normal Soap as this will reduce the chance of chafing.

if you feel its been ages since you last ate something, have a small meal, i find that 2minute noodles with mixed frozen veggies are the easiest on an amped stomach. this will also help cramps go away.

keep a bottle of water with you and have small sips when you feel its necessary.


since I started washing regularly and having some sort of small meal whilst on a binge, I have noticed that it doesn't occur as often as it used to I also find having a multivitamin with the meal helps with recovery at the end of your Tweek

Yes,it is kind of a metallic and/or rancid vinegar smelling smell.
But I don't binge on amphetamines..but then again that probably doesn't apply to these regards considering I get the smell no matter what.

Yea,eating and staying hydrated are definatly important..but to think that they may be playing a role in this whole weird smell thing is intriguing.I never gave it a thought in those regards.
Hmm..thank you for the information.I am going to try eating more then I usually do next time I take some amphs and I am also going to MAKE SURE I shower beforehand and then afterwords too.I believe I consume plenty of water/liquids naturally so yea.

I don't believe this has happened to me. I know that amphetamines, especially meth, can cause you to sweat a lot, but I'm not sure how this would account for what you're talking about.

My only other theory on this; amphetamine is causing your sense of smell to become heightened. I considered this as I know that amphetamines (meth especially) increases my perceptions/appreciation of music, and I could speculate that this is amphetamines causing my sense of hearing to become heightened.

A big reason for me is i think its because I piss on myself a lot...In high doses of adderall, controlling my bladder can be difficult. Mainly after I pee (which is every 30 seconds) I'll stop, put my penis back in my pants and walk away from the toiler and I'll continue going. I have to wring out my penis after I pee and squeeze my balls. It all comes out mostly then....heh

Dang dubstep that sucks..but I actually kinda know what ur talking about.When i am speeding it takes me like 2 minutes to take a piss because it doesn't all just flow out like it should.I get to the end of my piss and it will stop flowing normally and then sometimes I have to kind of push it out in waves or spurts..and that can take a minute to make sure I get it all out.
This can actually be pretty freakin frustrating cuz sometimes I am jus standing there pissing spurts wondering when the fudge I'll be done.

And Captain Heroin that is a plausible theory but it is not the case because ive asked people to smell me while I am amph speeding and they say they can smell it too.

This has been on amphetamine binges, and off, maybe I just don't have a strong signature smell. Therefore I think you are smelling yourself in a different way, but that doesn't mean it is noticeable to others. Eventually you get a tolerance to it and can't smell it anymore. The easiest way to explain is it as if you were playing chess, you see a lot of good moves that your opponent doesn't.

Nay because as I said before I've had my friends smell me while speeding in order to find out if I was jus smell trippn or not and my friends said I do give off a weird chemical BO sent too.

Also,I didn't ask them all at once so that avoids a generalized incorrect answer too.
I would ask one or two of them at a time and all of them have basically told me "yes,you do give of an unordinary scent when your speeding on amph".

yea meth does that. i can always tell when i get a particulalrly speedy roll cuz i smell like a robot dancing instead of a human dancing.

also sometimes if i take a lot of my dexes, taste speed for most of the day and sweat somewhat changed

I get a weird sweet smell like over-ripe fruit...this happens when i eat very little while on Adderall...its probably from ketones.

I smell like it right now. I do suppose it could be worse...i could smell like piss and vinegar. ;-)

My body is just different from yours.

Sorry I didn't read when you said that other people noticed it, but it can be placebo. Ask them randomly and see if you get the same reply. Say you're speeding when you're really not, and see if they say you smell weird. Maybe its an impurity in the drugs, I dunno.

A certain type of amphetamine can make you smell really rancid, in Sweden we call this pigs-speed as the rumour has it that farmers give this to pigs.

Apparantly it's meant to be Phendimetrazin.

It's just early amphetamine usage side-effects. It'll go away with tolerance, it makes me believe that your body is using it's reserves and starts breaking some things off... = ammonia sweat?

Just relax, keep hydrated although it's very hard because you piss it out almost directly. Perhaps with a little added salt to your drink your body could hold some of it's liquids... For food, I don't have problems with downing anything but for people who do: Take some milk warm it in a microwave in a bowl, take some whole weat flour, mash some bananas, add some honey (antioxidant), put in pieces of fruit for all the vitamins and it'll be just some mash that can easily be eaten and your body will love you for it (it really diminishes my comedowns, pasta is another, fresh sauce, veggies!)

I don't have that smell anymore, except maybe when i'm moving (raving) in excess. Just have a bottle of water at hand and wash yourself frequently.

I should get some amphetamines again, soon :D.

On my last binge on jolly green granules i had this plant chemical smell, almost the same the granules smelled. Quite disgusting, and in 2005 i was on a techno fest in italy where every single was doing ketamine and some mad cheap but potential speed, at the end of the 3 days, there was an awfull fishy chemical smell all over the festival, i am sure it was from the people because i could not even sleep in my tent because of that smell.

There are all kinds of old stories about amphetamine or ephedrine in salt blocks or chicken feed in the US. None of which makes sense, why would you give appetite suppresors to livestock? The idea is to make them gain weight as quickly as possible

Amps actually decreaseyour sense ofsmell. Smell goes with hunger and Amps, as with all stimulants mute hunger and smell. I am very sure of this.
