I've been looking for the answer to this question for hours but decided to come on here and ask since i've been a loooong time lurker. I just got a 50 mcg/hr Fent patch and stuck in on my chest. The thing is ive been addicted to blues almost 100mg a day for about 2 months and now im on subs (usually cut an 8 in half, so 4mg a day.) Ive been on the subs for about 2 months and havent taken any other opiates since. So should I just keep the patch on, or take it off and suck a little of the gell out. Thanks in advance guys, I figured id just stick the patch on since it takes 6 hrs to kick in but I can always take it off.

If you have been taking about 4mg's a day of suboxone than you probably will feel little to nothing from the patch. I would take it off IMMEDIATELY so you dont waste it. You need to wait until atleast 24-32hr's(if not longer) after your last suboxone dose before you use that patch. Otherwise the bupernorphine in the suboxone will block the fentanyl from attaching to your brains receptors, preventing you from getting high essentially.

And yes, once you are able to take the fentanyl, there are a few ways you can do it. I reccommend looking through BL to find all the info on all the different routes of administration before you decide what to do. My personal favorite was to cut the patch into equal sized squares and then put a square under my tounge and suck on it for a while. It felt like shooting up heroin it was so strong. Of course I measured my doses out very carefully....and you should too NO MATTER what ROA you use. I believe more people overdose on fentanyl than any other opiate.(that is per the amount of people who actually take the drug)

Well I do have to patches, equaling to 100mcg/hr. Do you think I should just keep this one on until tomorrow and see how I feel then just put the other one on if im not feeling anything?

Your not understanding what im saying. Its very simple. If you dont want to waste that fentanyl patch....take it off right now.

The bupe in the suboxone has a MUUUUUCH higher binding affinity for your brains opiod receptors than the fentanyl does......meaning.......it doesnt matter how much fentanyl you take, you will not feel a thing. Well, actually, if you took a SHITLOAD of fentanyl, you MIGHT feel a tiny little bit, but it would definitely not be worth it.....it would more than likely feel like you just took a couple vicodin. You could probably put 10 patches on and not feel a thing almost.(allthough I do not reccommend doing that either....that is wreckless)

Im telling you man, for the sake of that fent patch, take it off!!

Its not gonna do SHIT. Bupernorphine has a half life of 32 hrs.....meaning, you have alot of bupe built up in your brain blocking out ALL opiates that try to bind to your receptors to get you high, like, fentanyl for instance. It doesnt matter how much fent you take, IT WILL NOT WORK.

I guarantee you, if you keep it on, and especially if you add the other patch on as well.....you will end up crying, wishing that you hadnt wasted those patches. I know you may wanna get high off fentanyl right now, but its just not gonna happen. Did your suboxone doctor not tell you how suboxone works or something? Because this is basic suboxone information here that you seem to not understand.....no offense of course....I just dont understand why you dont get that the suboxone BLOCKS ALL OPIATES.

Im trying to help you man.....and im telling you....YOUR WASTING THOSE FENTANYL PATCHES

dude wtf your suboxone and you think you can use other opiates to get high? Suboxone blocks the effects from all opiates, so you have to wait at least 36 hours to be able to get high again, especially at your dose.
