Chasing the dragon question

When you are chasing the dragon, you see the H sorta form this black button right, and behind it there is streaks of orange/red whatever. Everyone I have smoked with always heats the streaky bits behind the button but my question is this effective?

Isn't it it the black blob that contains the H, and the streaky bits are all Cut. Is it worth inhaling the streaky part too, or just the black button?

i think you're wrong.... When you get the trails like he describes you're not burning the h. If you hold the lighter too close and get no trails, the h ends up melting rather than staying in rock form

Yeah, suck any vapor you see, trail or the button, it's all heroin.

You make a light bulb vape and do it that way until you actually get you technique correct.
This way you lose very little vapor.

You will know if it is just cut in the trails, as it will look like burnt plastic.
