Hi all,
I was wondering if someone could tell me the difference when it comes to the size of a poppy pod? Obviously a bigger pod will produce more, but is there a difference if I use the 6 medium pods equivalent to a large pod?

I was just looking at the price difference between small, medium, LG, XL, and mammoth, and I'm baffled.

The other thing I can't figure out is the equivalence of each size. How many small is equivalent to a mammoth? XL equivalent to a mammoth?

thanks for the help- I'm trying to figure out if I have been ripped off before i buy any more.

It probably has alot to with the mass of each pod. You simply need to figure out how much mass a "mammoth" pod has, and then figure out how much mass each "small" pod has. And then compare.
As far as quality difference between the different sized pods, I would say that it all just depends on the quality of pods you bought. Some of the "small" pods could contain more opiate alkaloids by weight than the "mammoth" pods , so it would make more sense to use alot of "small pods" rather than use one "mammoth" pod that equals the same wight. See what I mean. It all just depends on the quality.....and thers no way for us to tell you how good the pods you are getting are. Even the same kind of pod from the same supplier can fluctuate in potency over time.

Thanks - def makes better sense now!

The sizes are basically arbitrary, as jamesBrown said, it has more to do with the potency of the individual batches of pods, which is an unknown. Also, I strongly suspect that mass may not have anything to do with the price, considering the large differences in price between a couple of "Mammoth" poppy pods and a crate of "medium" poppy pods.

The whole issue of size is IMO an artificial distinction created by the sellers to turn a bigger profit. Though of course, some may be more reliable than others

pod size doesnt have a lot to do with potentcy IME, i mean look at taz plants, my friends plants had pretty small pods compared to others--but they made the MOST POTENT opium ive ever smoked (although i do confess i havent smoked THAT much O)

if u can afford the larger pods (pods are cheap to begin with vs. $/high) then get them

but if ur knew to opies it really doesnt matter ull get high either way
