Hey, im new to bluelight but it, I had a question, i shot up oc last night and woke up with my arm being cold, left arm, i know its wrong, i dont want people tellin me that, i just want advice on what it could be, im afarid its gna go to my heart, does anyoone know what this might be, feels like cold water under my skin, please help!

Maybe you fell asleep in an awkward position during your oxycontin induced slumber, which slowed down your circulation for the remainder of the night. Just a guess though.

That may have caused it but my guess is that if he fell asleep in an awkward position it would just cause part of his body to fall asleep.....meaning..numb, not cold.

or it could be a particle got stuck and is creating thrombosis which will lead to gangrene and a 'cold dead feeling'

go get it checked out just to make sure, its better to have an arm and let them know then to not and have them find out anyway.

I was just about to shoot a couple of roxi 30's when i read this, i totally changed my mind there are too many risks it's just not worth it.. i'll stick to snorting, this is why i like this site, if it wasn't for bluelight i would probably be in serious trouble from lack of information in critical situations.

^ I almost lost my left leg because of those Roxi thirties man, be careful. Leg was paralyzed for over a month and darts of excruciating pain would race from my ankle to my knee's all day. I was on crutches for quite some time. My doctors couldn't do anything besides wait it out and see what happens.

yea its been goin on and off all day, sometimes my wrist would feel like theres cold blood running through it, and my right elbow feels like its burning also, where i shot up, but why does it feel like the bloodflow is cold? anyone else experience this? or does anyone have solid medical advice? im not sure if i should wait it out to see if it will go away or get it checked before it becomes more serious, what a dumb thing to do, i already threw out the rest of the needles, but it may be too late, i might have messed up my body and im pretty concerned, is there anyone that has a clue what this could be??

If you are worried about it you should definitely have it looked at by a doctor. It is nearly impossible for us to help you over a forum, we are not doctors and all of are responses are speculation on what could be wrong.

Like I said, seek medical attention if you are concerned about this. And if you are going to call a doctor, the sooner the better.

Did you run the pill through a microfiber filter of some sorts? At least then you're getting out a good amount of the fillers. But either way, IVing any pill really isn't worth it, just snort/swallow/plug it.

actually i used a filter, but it was a dirty cigarette filter, it was the only thing i had, the syringe was like muddy water, but i just figured it would flow out of my system in a few days

are you f'n kidding? a dirty cig filter? and it was the only thing you had? no cotton balls? q tips? coffee filters? get that shit checked out.. and if the filter was from a menthol cigarette that could explain the cold feeling.

Is keeping your usage a secret really worth losing an arm? Just suck it up and get it checked out......not saying that you are going to lose it, but you never know. Better be safe than sorry.

Holy shit dude, a dirty cigarette filter? Muddy water? Well, we all get in desperate situations, I've done some stupid things with needleplay as well....but the important part is recognising you have done something stupid then doing the right thing to minimise the damage.

If I were you I would immediately visit a doctor or ER, there's a whole manner of nasty things that could have ended up in your arm from a used cigarette filter. If you value your arm and those symptoms are persisting (even if they are not) I would really recommend getting a medical professional to look you over.

Dirty cig filter = you injected bacteria...ash...burned tobacco (oc solution should be clear in syringe, not "muddy"). You may have a blood infection from this. Go to the ER.

ok no, seriouly

ok no, seriously i appreciate the advice, thats why im gna mention i was kidding about the dirty filter, but everything else is true, and today, 4 days later, I was doing dishes and after ringing out the rag i had pain inside of my forearm, is that normal? does anybody recall having a bruise from banging oxy, and have any of you experienced pain inside of your arm from it?

Why would you make up something like that? Sounds either like a troll or somebody who feels like an idiot for using a dirty cigarette filter and is now just saying he made it up because he's embarrassed. :/
