Drugs that feel best on comedowns

on stimulant crashes i usually use benzos and opiates. but as i've said before, benzos(though they help) don't get rid off all the "comedown feeling".

opiates feel good when the euphoria is present, but soon fades to a sedated feeling with the comedown feeling still lurking. :!

is there any other drugs that will "blanket" crashes better? or are benzos as good as it gets?
 
I use stimulants everyday for add/adhd. If I wasn't a recovering junkie I would say heroin, ativan, and restoril is the perfect comedown, but I would have to ask that same question because I'm still trying to find something as good as temazepam to take during the day.......Nothing comforts me more than temazepam.
 
I like benzos a lot for taking care of crashing. A lot more than Benadryl (the comedown of speed and delirium of Benadryl is sometimes trippy in a scary way. I even find those two periods slightly similar, with Benadryl being more sedating of course.
With my tolerance to benzos, its hard to say if they do much, but I still think normal doses help a little. No doubt no doubt if my tolerance was low 3 benzo pills could be heaven on comedown.
 
When I used to use Amphetamine, I always used Triazolam (one of the more rarer benzo's

and best feeling IMO). Though if it was 1985 I guess Triazolam was much more widely

prescribed.

I remember those days and yea I think Id have to quad my meds for a hardcore speed comedown.....


and yea halcions a bit hard to get prescribed unless your reason is legit.....real legit and you talk well....I seem to do well with getting what I Need though. I never try to get high off my medications.
 
halcion is very short acting, i'd think intermediate or long acting benzos with decent potency(clonazepam, diazepam, temazepam, lorazepam) would be better.
 
ketamine raises blood pressure and heart rate, not good after stimulant use. i have mixed feelings about GHB- it feels like a slightly more euphoric, shorter lasting, and more dangerous version of alcohol. i've tried it on comedowns, and benzos are better imo. GHB=alcohol for me as a comedown helper.
 
maybe a small dose of a barbiturate(one pill of phenobarbital or if i'm lucky secobarbital) and a O.C.30(uncrushed as i want it to be time released and i don't want too high of a dose) with my normal benzo dose would "do it".

i am tolerant to benzos/barbs, so overdosing isn't a major concern. i'm not too opiate tolerant, which is weird because i use them A LOT. perhaps this mix will work, i'll probaly have a shot or two(been an alcoholic since i was a kid, literally...).

or i can just take more stimulants till the point of fuckin psychosis, have my neighbor call 911(again...), and let the good folks at the E.R. worry about sedating me(again... the people at my local E.R. know me by name lol), and i'll have another funny story to tell at partys. the docs at the E.R. have some STRONG ASS sedatives, wish i had whatever they use laying around at my disposal for crashes...

Only reason I use alcohol/ghb is for the comedowns, or potentiating other drugs.

I have a few experiences with benzo's (valium/tetrazepam) and both were disappointing... I think i've expected more of it; does near to nothing for me.

EDIT: I also smoke a lot of weed when i'm coming down... Well, I always smoke weed but it definetly helps and without tolerance it could be quite sedating.

ketamine is not safe with stimulants or depressants.

with uppers, increased heart rate and blood pressure.

with downers, severe cns/respiratory depression can lead to death(they have a combined depressant effect)

enjoy K on it's own, it's not safe with other drugs.
 
Combining any drug or using another drug to alleviate comedowns isn't exactly right either.

Each to their own, THC increases heart rate and blood pressure aswell yet I firmly stick to it. Personal choices, eh :P .
 
Dunno what benzo's you have been doing but I find that klonopin and valium to be very weak against amp comedowns.

Xanax is amazing: I took 0.75 after taking 90mg adderall today and feel so much better.
 
2 or 3 magic hat #9's, some delicious yet-so-hard-to-find (but I just happen to have itright now) good quality opium, and some good weed. Win.

If that combination saddly is not available... klonopin works.
 
I like an opiate for the comedown and then a benzo to actually go to sleep. That's for meth. On the rare occasion I do coke give me seroquel. Knocks me out like getting hit in the head with a brick. Can't deal with cocaine comedowns.

most opiates will give you a solid 4 hours or more. How long are your comedowns? what part specifically of the "comedown feeling" is tearing you up so much? anxiety, boredom, irritability, paranoia, guilt, rage, avolition or fiending?

a benzo or alcohol cures all but boredom, avolition, and fiending for me. gabapentin is even better, as it also cures fiending for me. if not available, some nicotine will also help those last three.

but yeah, mainly only opiates and dissociatives feel good during a comedown. I've taken 2CE on a few comedowns. it actually cures the fiending. adds another 12 hour timer to sleep though.

I'm coming off a nice 24 hour ice ride with no benzos in the house unfortunately. I'm drinking milk and listening to a really slow song, over and over, letting my heart rate find the rhythm of the song and start to go with it.

I have to go to the dr before I can get a refill and I don't have insurance anymore.

I can't afford the dr.

fucked.
