Pregabalin (Lyrica) is excreted unchanged trough urine, so, and here comes the weird question, if I drink my urine after taking Lyrica (more than 2 hours later for example), then i'll, therotically, be taking Lyrica, wouldn't I?
I read in some science magazine that Florey and Chain recicled penicilin from the patients urine for up to 5 days until it was metabolized.

I'm just looking to make the magic work again, as, before, the buzz and anxiolysis lasted all day long and now I'm just a anxious and (sometimes) depressed shadow of my former self. The buzz lasts only a couple hours and I DO take breaks every weekend.

However, can you stomach an entire bladder full of your own urine? seems like you'd have to drink a lot

Took the words right off of my keyboard. Urine is almost completely sterile of bacteria when first expelled, the worst you'll probably be ingesting is ammonia or other less-than-healthy waste products as long as you dont let it sit and culture bacteria. As glenjih said though it seems quite daunting chugging a litre or more of foul-tasting urine just for a lyrica buzz. I may be a bit biased however as i dont find lyrica to be especially recreational, I found it better for social/general anxiety or for relieving opiate withdrawals in higher doses.
 
Any chance of evaporating to make a sort of concentrate? It would likely increase the gross factor but it's more feasible if you can reduce the volume
 
It's not my tolerance. To be perfectly honest I didn't know what pregabalin was until I just googled it, I'm just trying to help the OP recycle his valuable goodies.

i wasn't speaking to you specifically but when you're at a place in life of wanting to drink your recycled piss in order to get a buzz off it, is probably a good time to start re-evaluating your use.
 
I suppose. But to be honest, if I could recycle the drugs I enjoy by doing a shot of urine concentrate I probably would now and again.

It would certainly save some damned money.

Surprisingly contrary to people's intuitions, you can drink your own urine.

I'm pretty sure not indefinitely, and you would also need to still eat food and drink water too, but it's not risky like sharing needles or anything.
 
Look up Amanita muscaria. The active ingredient in those mushrooms is excreted in urine, so shamans looking to trip would continue drinking their own piss until they had gotten the most out of their trip. So while the OP's idea may seem distasteful to modern readers, it does have some historical precedent.
 
i had a thought like this when i read about one of the opiates i was taking at the time was discreeted unchanged in the urine, and then i thought of shooting my own piss, then i thought what the fuck is wrong with me.

i like lyrica to, so much actually but its not worth it, after 3 days your tolerance is huge, and you need to stay off for 3 days. shit after 1 day its not the same, but yeah, take 3 days on 3 days off, it should help.

OP - People do drink their own piss for health reasons, so I say go for it. . . .You dirty bastard!:)
 
Yeah my tolerance is up, and I DO take breaks every weekends, off Lyrica and benzos, I will try lowering my dose, and this weekend I will take a break and endure the hellish abstinence.
98% of Lyrica is excreted unchanged trough urine and it doesn't seem to get a high or even a buzz, redosing just seem to extend the experience.
 
I wonder look into whether evaporating the water in the urine would leave you with the lyrica still in the container before I went straight to drinking the urine. It would seem to me that if you could evaporate the water and collect the active ingredient and take it that way, it'd be much more palatable than just drinking urine. Just my 2 cents on the matter.
