Triazolam?

Yeah nah I gotcha BIGsherm I know what you mean. I was just asking if it worked on anxiety like xanax since it's in the benzo family, but I don't think it does.

BTW just took a .25mg triazolam about half an hour ago (first time taking this) and I don't feel a thing, really weird. I dont know if my tolerance to kpins has anything to do with it or if it just takes longer to kick in or what, weird.

well they are both triazolobenzodiazepines, so I would think that they act in a similar fashion......Triazolam was quite a powerful anxiolytic benzo for me, but it was just too sedating to have any practical use other than sleep.

True, but a lot easier when you start throwing in oxycontin with it. That's what would have me paranoid.

The fact that I'd be so sedated would be the source of my paranoia. Whenever I'm THAT sedated I'd want someone around to make sure I wake back up.
benzos + oxy + weed is a great euphouric combination, albeit possibly dangerous depending on tolerance?

i unfortunately have a very high benzo tolerance :o last night i took 10mg xanax,40 - 80mg valium,10 x 15mg restoril temazepam (150mg??) although i have a feeling they are underdosed?? any one know anything about these novartis/restoril pakistani temazepam? after that like i said i crushed up 80 mg oxycontin and swallowwed that down with a cup of tea, rolled a weed joint and the next thing i remember i wake up a 3am (on a school night) * work night.knowning i had to be up in 3 hours with a pounding headache,i take 100mg paracetamol and i wake up minus the headache and feeling suprisingly ok.although i did immediately ingest 6mg clonazepam sublingually and around 30mg valium which saw me through the day at work quite ok,up until around 1.45 pm when i ingeststed 8 mg wyeth lorazepam.*dont try this at home kids
;)
btw the joint i rolled last night had not been touched, possibly something to look forward to tonight.

any particular benzos or benzo combinations that work particulary well with weed?

thanks for your concern fellow bluelighters, infact id like to call you friends if thats ok with you? :)

im not being arrogant in saying this because we al know drugs at any doses regardless of tolerance can have svere if noit fatal consequences yet ive gone down the opiate, benzo, weed route in the poast and felt very nice (although this may not alkways be the case.

maybe im lucky and maybe its something to do with the insane benzo tolkerance i have accuired :o

anyway 80mg oxy consumed about 10 mins ago, effects beginnogto take effect, timeto go and smoke that refer and report back
dont know whay i double quoted, said all i needed to say (and more!) although i will add i can now save that oxy for a months time when i can fully enjoy it :D

^I would actually put it in between those two numbers. In my experience, .5mg triazloam = 1.5mg alprazolam (or .25mg of triazolam = .75mg alprazolam)

I found the feeling and time-line of effects very similar to alprazolam, but a little more sedating.

I tried triazolam for the first time last night and honestly I felt close to nothing. I tried laying down afterwards and didn't get sleepy at all, I was up until 2am. I'm gonna keep taking it at night for another week or so but if I still get nothing out of it I'm just gonna do away with it. I've already tried restoril for sleep which didn't work at all, and halcion is supposed to be a step up from that. Benzos just don't hit me hard for some reason and I'm not about to start taking more and more just to feel effects, I dont want to know where that road would take me.

I know, my psychiatrist just prescribed me halcion for sleep, but it did nothing for me last night.

Restoril didn't do sh$t either when I tried it a while back.

I would go with ambien but don't like the idea of taking that on top of klonopin. I'll either stick with benzo+benzo or just do away with any sleeping pills for good if the halcion doesn't end up helping.

well how long have you been taking the klonopin? It could just be tolerance, you probably need a higher dose of triazolam.

Oh I've been on kpin for 9 months now at 2 to 2.5mg a day so I definitely have a tolerance to it. I wondered if that's why the halcion didn't work. I might go from .25 to .5 halcion, but if it still doesn't work at that dose I don't like the idea of taking more and more.

Well, the amount of Clonazepam you are taking is equivalent to 1-1.25mg Triazolam (not that you should take that amount) so you may need a little more than 0.25mg. If you have been on Clonazepam for 9 months I'd say that you have a tolerance. Try 0.5mg

Yeah that's kind of what I was thinking, sounds good and I hope it works. Thanks for the reply.

In my experience, Triazolam is the most rapidly physically-addictive of all 12 or so benzos I've tried... by this I mean I was having withdrawals (in the morning, upon waking up) after about only 10 days of nightly use.

Usually it takes more than a month of continuous use for any benzo to create physical dependence.

And it really isn't worth it at all, it is of very limited therapeutic use and much less recreationally-satisfying than, say, alprazolam.

Yeah, I think I'm starting to find that out real quick too. I believe you're right about this Jamshyd (no offense to people triazolam has worked for).

I took .5mg tonight (up from .25mg last night) a little after 10pm to see if it would work any better. I took it, layed down / tried to sleep and am now back up 2 hours later feeling nothing (never even got close to sleepy). My doc even said, "take this at bedtime and you'll be asleep within half an hour or so." I already take klonopin for anxiety and see no reason to keep trying this if it's doing nothing for me. I'm not going to start upping the dose even more, just not a road I'm willing to go down.

Thoroughly disappointed and pretty much done trying any more sleeping pills for now. Thanks for all the feedback though guys.

if you can take 10 mg of alprazolam and still be awake , I give you props! I have been taking 1mg of alprazolam 4 times a day for 5 yrs ive tried taking 3 or 4 for a good mellow high but if I take 5 or more i cant stay awake. Not to mention all the other benzos you mentioned and the oxy too. I think your full of it personally!
