Long time lurker first time poster.

Hey im looking for some information on what happened to me. Up until a year ago i was able to get great effects from Codeine, Tramadol and Kratom. Coming back to present time i cant get any good effects what so ever.

At the most i will get itchy and tired. Even tried different sources for the Kratom because i thought i kept getting bad batches. Used to get wonderful effects and now its all gone!

Here is a few details about myself, ~ A year ago i had a benzo addiction that lasted for about a year(mostly diazepam ). Also I went through a phase after that where i did DXM ~ 10 times in about 2 months( not going over 300mg each time). Now all i do is have a few beers a week and smoke weed.

Im not sure if some how the DXM messed with the enzymes that metabolize those opoids or not.

Would another ROA increase the chances of me feeling these?

Thanks for your time.

Tolerance

you need to increase the potency of the drugs you are taking. try some hydrocodone, or maybe small dose oxycodone.

I doubt the DXM would hurt anything, especially in that dose and with such space b/w doses. If anything i hear it can help reverse tolerance... as jamesBrown pointed out you might need to move up the ladder, or preferably just up your dosage to get the good effects. Drink some coffee and take some diphenhydramine or, better yet promethazine to ward off itchies while potentiating and of course the caffeine to ward off drowsiness.
Also, anybody know what kind of Kratom is best? Not asking for vendors, simply wondering whether extract, fortified leaf, etc would be better worth my while. PM if you like!

austin texas is the shit dr pepper....im 30 minutes away but I wish I was right there on 6th st.

Thanks for the replys so far, i might get some cimetidine and see if that has any effect.

Commercial Bali was my favorite.

Yeah i was on 24th and gualalupe at the dorms last semester, was pretty dope. Currently commuting to the uni 3x/week from south austin, staying with rents. Will get an appt here within a month or two (i hope)

For fuck's sake.

The answer to tolerance is most certainly NOT taking more addictive drugs. Harm Reduction, anyone?

(Directed at JamesBrown's brilliant advice)

Yea its a great city to be going to school in. I actually might enroll at UTA sometime in the next couple years. I think it would be better for me to get out of SA and transfer to a different environment. I definitely know alot of people there.

yes you are right....i guess.

The answer to toelrance IS to take stronger drugs its just not something we should condone. You could also try taking a break and then going back to your normal doses....but i think you said you have allready done that and those doses are just not cutting it anymore.

Well, I guess the responsible answer would be to tell you to stop using drugs before you become an addict. But if your not going to listen to that, then there really is no helpful adivce I can give you as to how to get a better high again.

Maybe I shouldnt have told you to try stronger drugs but you probably would have figured that one out on your own anyway. I was simply telling you the answer to your question. But to be honest, like Jamshyd said....in the interest of harm reduction.....telling you to take stronger drugs is not a good idea.
