Cross Tolerance between Methamphetamine and MDxx substances

Hi all!


I would just like to find out everyones opinion on this subject.

Is there a big cross tolerance between both substances?


The reason I'm asking is because i've been pretty much hammering the shards hardcore last 4-5months on a weekly basis, and i can sense that MDMA is making a come back REAL soon in my state and now i want to find out if my hammering of ice will have any effect on my tolerance of MDMA

Dude, same. City and problem. Haha. Pretty sure it's not going to be an issue when it returns. My spidey senses haven't been tingling, though. Can get liquid LSD, good coke, good shards... and still haven't heard anything about MDMA.

Methamphetamine use won't produce a cross tolerance to MDMA, however, use of meth and MDMA together may alter the MDMA high with some people.

Yeah I've definitely heard that before. I don't believe there's any noticeable cross tolerance though

no cross tolerance is freaken good to hear!!!!!!. Its been months since my last dose of mdma. it'll almost be like the very first drop. (almost) cloud9 for 4hrs or so.

Take note of the neurotoxicity warnings. Unless something has changed recently, dopamine is integral in the destruction of 5HT axons resulting from MDMA use. Increasing dopamine levels further via methamphetamine+MDMA use would be expected to increase this damage.

All good points so far. However, it should also be noted that if your consuming your MDMA in pills the subjective effects of the 'ecstasy' may be different due to your tolerance to the common adulterant methamphetamine. Your pills won't be so speedy, basically.

I suppose the same would also apply for MDA and MDEA, specifically MDA with it's higher Dopamine activity?

I used to do speed and MDMA together all the time. Never found any cross tolerance problems. Used to take em both or just one type / nite and still got great effects from them. Most pills ive come across atleast 60% or more contained MDMA mixed with speed. Ive just learned how tolerance works from abusing opiates and benzos. With MDMA/ICE i could do it 3 times a week and still get the same effects from it with the same dose. Never needed more. Even tho they are very similar they act in different ways without going into too much details (plus im too fuked "again") LOL
