Opinion: Most "intoxicating" benzo(s)...

what do you think is the most "intoxicating"(drunk like feeling/actions, impairing, euphoric, etc.) benzo?

on drug abuse sites they always state that abuse of benzos leads to an "alcohol like intoxication". this is true for some, but weaker benzos(quazepam, lorazepam, among others) really aren't so "impairing" or fun like alcohol and kind have their "own feeling"(mental dullness, apathy, boredom or a mild depressesd feeling).

however, "good" benzos like temazepam, clonazepam, trialozam, nitrazepam, and flunitrazepam can feel quite intoxicating like alcohol(sometimeswith more euphoria). their effects can rival some barbiturates imo, but not methaquaalone ;).

diazepam and alprazolam were kinda in the middle...:\

imo the top 5 most "drunk-like", fucked up, impairing, and euphoric benzos are:

1.temazepam
2.flunitrazepam
3.trialozam
4.nitrazepam
5.clonazepam

temazepam is the hands down the best to me. not quite quaaludes, secobarbital, or tunial, but it is the benzo that most gets me in a euphoric, alcohol like daze. roofies were a close second.:D

i know opinions on this will be highly varied, but what do you consider the most "intoxicating" benzos to be?
 
Definitely hypnotic benzos.

Out of all the benzos I've tried, I think temazepam was probably the most "intoxicating".
 
fun fact: temazepam is the only benzo listed on wikipedia's article for the illegal drug trade. there are actually labs where illegal temazepam is made, called "jellie labs".

they are mostly in eastern europe and the temazepam produced is made by chemical alterations in less desirable benzos(lorazepam was listed as one).
 
ive never had temazepam, though i want to really badly. I would say alprazolam or clonazepam. I like lorazepam alot though as well.
 
Temazepam is a drug I've had once i got 70mg in one go, took 30mg with 15mg of Diazepam, then the next few days a took the whole 40mg with weed and drink and other benzo's. Nothing special, maybe next time i should do a higher dose with no other substances in my body
 
Alprazolam beats Temazepam in the fucked up feeling for me.

To each his own though. I think for me it would be something like Xanax, then Temaz, then K-pins.
 
i felt pretty intoxicated on phenazepam, but it could have just been the dosage... otherwise hypnotics... probably loprazolam or midazolam... allthough i havn't tried flunitrazepam or nimetrazepam

the least intoxicating benzos are clonazepam (i drink that shit like water (comes in litle bottles here) and tetrazepam which both suck ass

I agree about clonazepam. When I was prescribed a month's worth at a time (before I was put on weekly dispensing), I'd often abuse it and take huge doses - sometimes up to 15-20mg's. Even that didn't seem particularly "intoxicating". I guess that's probably because clonazepam is more of an anxiolytic than a hypnotic.
 
Alprazolam is the worse. I can barely drive after taking 12mgs of xanax in bar form. It was so hard staying awake and keep driving. I don't have any memory of what happaned, just remember taking 6 2mg bars and driving, then woke up in a friends house.
Tamazepam is second, it knocks me out and very hard to stay asleep especially mixed with alcohol. I havn't tried driving on that drug.

Temazepam defo . I used to get the 10mg 5Ml liquid that stuff was fukin crazy . I find you do build up tolerance quick on temazies . Nowadays i prefer nitrazepam cos of the long half life.
With Tamazepam no matter how much you do you are really fucked for 5 hours tops then nothing.

yeah i've taken 30mg's clonazepam with 5 pints of beer and wasn't phased in the least... but i was glad to get some when i ran out of benzos a week early, coz even though it's not intoxicating, its potent so for my 50mg diazepam and 1mg loprazolam Rx i could take 3mg / day and be at the same dosage as usual, and due o cross tolerance had no w/d at all,

however i find xanax (which is also an anxiolytic and not a hypnotic) to be very intoxicating at high doses +25mg...

no shit, thats because its a huge fuckin' dose. 8)

its been awhile since I've used rohypnol, but I remember (as much as one can) being smashed off 3mg.

I would say Rohypnol, and Xanax.

and I'd say valium in real high doses, like 90+mg because of all the slurred speech and valium face due to the muscle relaxant properties of diazepam.

oh, and those are my choices because I've only had the following benzos:
Alprazolam
Diazepam
Clonazepam
Lorazepam (shitty benzo)
Flunitrazepam
and thats all I can remember taking. I have received sample orders from overseas that might've had some weird benzo in 'em.

OH, I had these supposed 1mg Alprazolam from a country I don't remember, and I don't remember the imprint. but they weren't alprazolam, but they were in a blister pack, and I was told that it might've been Phenazepam sold as xanax. I guess because Phenazepam is so cheap and Alprazolam is always in high demand.
