How can I make DXM come on faster?

I can do with 12 coricidin pills but, It takes me about two or three hours for it to finally hit me. I don't have any more. How can I make it so it hits me faster?
It's not that I can't wait, but usually I end up tripping after my friends are already past their peak and this is supposed to be a planned group trip. I also can't make it so I have to wait longer.
 
They don't have any other kind of robotussin at the closest drug store? There's all kinds of products that contain only DXM.

Coricidin is very, very bad for you. I don't feel comfortable offering any advice as to how to take it; my only advice is, don't. If someone asked how to make arsenic poisoning come on faster, I wouldn't want to help them with that, either.

Go to the drug store, spend 5 bucks and buy a DXM product that won't cause permanent damage or kill you. Coricidin has chlorphenamine in it, which can KILL YOU and makes DXM itself worse for your body by competing with a key enzyme that metabolizes it. It may actually be MORE irresponsible than huffing paint fumes and shit like that. Just don't do it. If you don't have permanent impairment after half a year of abuse, you should count your blessings, not use that as an excuse to keep poisoning yourself.

If you value your life and your health at all, you won't risk throwing it away to get high for a couple hours. Especially when you can get the same high without risking death by using a pure DXM product. CORICIDIN IS TOXIC, and here is the list of fun side effects you can look forward to when your luck runs out and chlorphenamine overdose gets the better of you:

* Dry mouth, eyes, nose, and throat
* A rapid heart rate
* Nausea and vomiting
* Agitation
* Rapid breathing
* Drowsiness
* Dilated pupils
* Flushing
* Fever
* Slowing of the digestive tract
* Low blood pressure
* An irregular heart rhythm
* Confusion
* Hallucinations
* Delirium
* Psychosis
* Seizures
* Coma
* Loss of life.

Sounds like fun, huh? :\ FFS, wait till tomorrow if everything's closed. If you had no drugs to do besides a nice big bottle of rat poison, would you drink it? Not getting high for one night won't kill you, but CCC abuse might.

By the way, to answer your original question: it will come on faster if you use a brand that doesn't come mixed with a potentially fatal drug that competes for its key metabolic enzyme. In addition to potentially killing you, the chlorphenamine prevents your body from processing the DXM.

Stay away from the CCC's. CVS sells "gel" capsules with only dxm (15mg apiece). These are the safest. They can take a while to start up however, if you want to speed up the process you can break them open by putting them in a cup and filling it up with water till the top of the pills, let them soak, and then pop them. After that you should filter out the gel pieces. You can then drink the water. Its nasty but drink it and then wash it down with some water and mouth wash.

Yes there is. You do not have to dose now. That's like if someone sprayed your weed with something poisonous, you found out, and you said "Well my dealer's dry at the moment so I'm smoking it anyway" - really stupid idea.

Bluelight is a harm reduction forum, we aren't going to give you advice that's going to worsen your health, which is what you're asking for.

Get some DXM that contains only DXM, or if you REALLY can't find any, DXM and Guaifenesin - while unpleasant, is fairly safe.

You are putting your health and your life at risk, all to get high, this is extremely irresponsible and not what we like here at Bluelight. We'll be happy to help you when you go out and get something that contains DXM only, until then just expect the same answer from different people.
 
normally i would tell you how, but i just had a crazy candy flip last night and my perspective of things is different right now. just wait man, its worth it. try to avoid Guaifenesin as it made me projectile puke all over my room a few days ago. nasty shit Guaifenesin is. just wait man....

The safest form of legal DXM :) (no guafinisen, no acetaminophen, just pure sweet DXM :))

I honestly couldn't agree more, I just tripped really hard off 34 of those and wrote a report (its a long report though) about how time was sooo distorted that it felt like it lasted a year. But it was the most amazing thing I've ever experienced and I learned a lot from it ^^ Robo cough gels long acting is my Bible xD just gotta wait a week or two in between doses to be safe (generally 2, maybe even 3 or 4, if your unsure)

And to answer the question to the OP. Really, if you took the right stuff, it should hit you within an hour (no longer than 2) (I usually get recieve my comeup at about 45 minutes in) but I have a fast matabolism. My best advice would be to gain more knowledge on DXM before trying again (ex: what to expect and which brands to take for better results) but I do reccomend trying it again with a better brand because DXM is beautiful ^-^ ...just be safe with it and know the brand well enough to avoid the inability to try again xD
