Opioids Pinpoint pupils?

Do pinpoint pupils mean that you are overdosing on hydrocodone? This is my second time doing hydrocodone and I took 5 Watson 387s over a 2 hour period. I'm beginning to feel sick to my stomach, very sleepy and have pinpoint pupils. Am I in any danger?
 
hey man. you shouldnt really have to worry, i've taken much more than that, however i have a HUGE tolerance. you know your body better than anyone here, but being that it is only your second time...its kinda hard to establish your tolerance. how tall are you and how much do you weigh?
 
All opiates cause pinpoint when under their influence, so just having them is not a sign of overdose.
Your just high and experienceing side effects (neasea, tired).
 
and no...pinpoint pupils do not necessarily mean you are od'ing. a lot of opiates will give you pinpoints. happens to me quite a bit. the worst thing you really have to worry about wit vics is the amount of acetamenophin you are throwing at your liver. you took 5 750s meaning there is 3750mg of acetomenaphin in you right now. the max daily limit before your liver turns toxic is 4000. it varies from person to person, but taking anything over 2000 in a dose is very bad. i usually take 4000mg in a dose, and im sure my liver is fucking shot, but im pretty sure you should be ok man. do yourself a favor and do a cold water extraction next time. look it up. its pretty simple to do and it gets rid of all the acetomenaphin in the pills.
 
your fine....but watson 387 doesn't tell us SHIT. why don't look up the pill on google and let us know how much hydrocodone you took.

and i sincerely doubt you are od'ing, you get sick to your stomach when you first start doing opiates
 
Yes, practically every time I have ever taken an opiate it has caused my pupil to shrink. The more opiates I take, the more tiny my pupils get. Its simply a side effect of the opiates.

When i was taking massive amounts of IV heroin daily my pupils were practically non-existent. This is how my gf was able to tell I was using again. She would stare me down until she got a good look at the size of my pupils.

i'm sure most of the opiate users here have had a scare at some point during their use and can relate. all the times i thought i was going to od(wow, that sounds bad) i was scared and couldn't think straight at all. maybe he should be cut a little slack?

yea he could of been more descriptive but it was only his second time. 37.5mgs is a nice dose for someone with no tolerance. also, waston 387 are possibly the most well know hydrocodone imprints. as most opiate pill users i know will only take hydrocodone if it's "one of those fat ones that say watson 387". i've had more then a few people insist that watson 387 feels stronger then norco 10's because they are bigger and have more acetaminophen as if that potentates the high. :\

to the OP, opiates are much like alcohol in the way that if you ingest to much nausea is sure to follow. pinned pupils are very common. happens every time i dose. even at 25mgs of hydrocodone.

now that you have better knowledge of your tolerance take opiates slow. no need to unnecessarily raise your tolerance by taking a dose larger then what you need, and as others have stated be cautious of how much acetaminophen you are ingesting.
 
7.5MG hydrocodones.... 5 of them 37.5MG. Even if you are completely opiate niave, this is not nearly enough to cause an overdose. It is, however, enough to cause nausea and discomfort to someone with no tolerance. Pinpoint pupils is a sign of opiate use, not of overdose, so don't worry.

If you are passing out, make sure you dont pass out on your back because opiates can cause u to throw up and u dont want to throw up on ur back or you will asphyxiate.


Also--- have you mixed the hydrocodone with alcohol, benzos, or anything else?
 
Ive taken 3/4 of a tussionex bottle in one go with zero tolerance. 10mg per teaspoon so I was alot higher in dosage than you and I turned out fine. Heavy nodding but alive.
 
OP you have nothing to worry about. you will be fine, like others have said.. pinpoint pupils are just a sign of opiate USE not OD.. I hope all these posts have reassured you that you're all good. %)

You took too much. Next time, dose accordingly. Your blood pressure is probably low (though I can't say for sure of course, over the Internet). If you feel like you're body is "forgetting" to breath, make sure you breath! Try not to fall asleep right now, but stay relaxed, breath, and think of happy shit.

If you like them, don't worry, you too may get to the point when 5 of those doesn't do jack shit. Oh joy.

And like they mentioned, pinned pupils doesn't necessarily mean an OD.
