help needed quickly!!! amphetamine headache

my friend consumed an oral dose of amphetamine sulphate (around 180mg) wrapped in paper and swallowed around 6 hours ago. after around two hours he began to develope a headache, became dizzy and felt nauseous. he has thrown up numerous times and still has a servere headache which is getting no better.

remember this is not 180mg of medically pure adderall (= to an overdose), this is 180mg of impure street amphetamine sulphate (= to a regular dose) and i have done lines this size tonight with no ill effects. so unless he is hypersensitive...

anyway, i need to know what to do. knowing whats happening would be helpful too but more importantly what should i do with him. would paracetamol, nurofen, etc help? because his main discomfort is his headache. i make this sound awful, but he basically has a really bad headache and threw up earlier, since when he has been drinking plenty of water to no avail. is he going to have to wait it out? or (as i'm hoping) there is a VERY specific reason for this and some VERY precise steps he can follow to feel better.

umm anything else... he consumed an energy drink about an hour after ingestion. do not seize on this as i personally dont think it could have caused such effects.

COULD THIS ALSO BE DOWN TO VASOCONSTRICTION? AND WOULD AN ASPIRIN SOLVE THIS??

My mate had this but he iv'ed some real dirt shat about half a gram and the thing that fixed him was some heroin.

Ok my mates are fuked up people but yeh thats what happened.

Im not a doctor so i cant say what other drug could help him but my mate ended up alright and even did the same thing again.

My guess is he can either way it out or i think some painkillers would help.

Also i know someone who had the same stuff as mate but half the amount iv'ed and was fine.

Hypersensitive or not it just depends on the person.

I dont think anyone will be able to help you hear just look for an online doctor or go to a late night health clinic.

my best bet is for your friend to take some benzodiazepines to relieve tremendously the hypertension, headache, rapid heartbeat, etc...hospitals do it for people who take too much stimulants anyways...at 180mg of adderall for someone with no tolerance is quite alot, much discomfort, i dont think he would die from it, but if you can try to find atleast 2-4mg of xanax/klonopin/10-40mg valium..that will fix all the problems, avoid alcohol

I knew a friend who went through the same thing after consuming apparently too much Adderall. He basically had to just stick it out and wait. I told him to take some Ibuprofen which helped a little bit but not for the sickness. All my other friends took around the same dose and had no problems so maybe he was hypersensitive to amphetamine.

Don't tell him to go to the hospital, it will go away. Tell him to take some sort of pain reliever and if he has some benzodiazepines, even better.

UK Speed, Base- Amphetamines are said to be 10% pure the rest is mixed with all kinda shit, the only safer option would be to go get some dexerine, but in the uk stimulants are rarely prescribed only for narcolepsy and sometimes kids get them if they have ADD, giving an overactive a stimulant to calm them just never made sense to me. Benzo's and opiates are easy to score where i live

stimulants do have a calming effect on people (example: being stuck on the computer all day, doing homework, filling out paperwork, etc..but dont get the word "calm" confused with being able to fall asleep, it just wont happen, ADHD or not...IDK if i have ADHD/ADD or not, all i know is i tell my doctor it helps with school, work, and im not so focused on getting out of work, looking at the clock, and that adderall, etc..helps me focus on getting my tasks done...so its a freestyle RXed med in the USA, and im 24 so they RX it like candy, my shrink knows im an addict and keeps believing it helps addicts be productive and stay out of trouble, i originally went to the shrink to continue mt Klonopin as my sub doc said he wants a shrink toRX it, which the shrink immediately said NO "its too additive and like alcohol in a pill" LOL amphetamines can be more addictive then benzos and aree tightly more regulated substances anyways..my sub doc laughed and kept me at my low dose of klonopin .5 3x a day

ok first of all, why are we talking about perscriptions? i clearly stated it is NOT adderall. second, why does everyone on bluelight assume that everyone just has free access to all benzos constantly like sweets. someone asks a question and its all ''take some klonopin''. i cannot get some magic perscription for them, sorry

hey listen man, u tihnk we all know your personal connections and availability? im giving you MY BEST suggestion, ok since all this time has passed i assume ur friend is fine now, he COULD OF WENT TO THE HOSPITAL AnD WOULD OF GOT DOSED BENZO'S TO RELIEVE HYPERTENSION, DONT TAKE your frusterations out on us..were giving u our best opinion...appreciate it for what its worth

sorry. little things like this just annoy me generally, and at a stressful time they make me agressive. because about 3/4 of the advice on bluelight involves different benzos and nobody seems in any doubt that i could just ''grab a couple of benzos'' for this and that. but yes i should have made my availability of resources clear, opinion appreciated

People gave you the benzo advice because the majority of people who abuse drugs have access to them, since they have a million and one uses. If you can't find them, that is all you had to say. It is like someone suggesting to smoke a bowl of weed in this situation, just because you can't get it doesn't make it a bad suggestion.

I would guess it is just his muscles being so tense, and just getting to his head eventually. Make sure he drinks water (not so fast he throws it up), try to make some tea, maybe take a hot shower, smoke weed if it is around and they are a regular smoker. If it isn't weird I would even give him a massage, specifically around the neck since those are the muscles that are connecting to behind your eyes and give a lot of tension headaches.

Hope that helps, if the symptoms don't get better soon then I would seek medical attention. Much better safe than sorry.

EDIT: I read what happened, I'm very sorry for your friend. At least you got him medical attention, and he is alive. Street stimulants are hard to judge potency, I am too scared to do them for this reason...

sorry its just that in my circle of friends, nobody has access to benzos, most of them wouldn't know what they are if you asked them and i'm just not used to them being a large part of the drug culture. i'll say in future and yeh street speed is the dodgiest of the lot :/

Just drink lots of water. I get this all time and im prescribed to it. 30 mg 2/day, but more like 4 times a day and eventually gonna get off and hopefully go to desoxyn.

Stay away from a lot of cigarettes. Too many just make it worse. Stay in dark, and lay down and breath.

Don't take any more until the sickness is gone and feel 'back-to-normal' and try a little less next time.

I agree with the benzo thang, it's cos we're not from the US I guess, tis a bit harder to find them.. used to confuse me too why people were always talking about easy access to them.

Anyway. This thread is not really suitable for BDD. Please don't come on asking for medical assistance, especially urgent medical assistance. There might not be anyone about and I'd hate to think of someone sitting at a computer waiting for an answer while their mate was missing out on medical treatment.

Secondly, how do you know that any of us know what we are talking about? We're all anonymous internet people to you..

For what it's worth, sounds like it was fine but a severe headache can be anything from a really bad tension headache (most likely in your mates case I'd imagine, from increased muscle tension) through dehydration (also fairly likely) to migraine, cluster headache, subarachnoid haemorrhage and meningitis. In general if something like this is not too bad, take some painkillers, drink some water and see your family doctor if it persists, but if it's really bad, get some medical help ASAP!

I hope your mate is okay now. Am guessing that was sarcasm about the heart attack, doesn't always translate well over the net!
