i was talking to this guy right now and he said he had done Mucinex DM for the DXM high and that it was an upper and i told him its better to go buy a generic cough syrup if u want a DXM high

he seriously told me that Mucinex DM is an upper and Cough Syrup is a downer :|

you know, even though he is getting high off the very same drug in both things.

then i told him if you dont wanna drink the syrup, extract the DXM from it and he seriously said thats impossible, you cant extract DXM from cough syrup :|

i.......i.....*facepalm*

then he swears to me he knows evertyhing there is to know about drugs just because he has done a shit ton of them. I think all those drugs rotted his brain man

It is an upper, it has ephedrine related compounds.

And DXM makes me sleepy, so I agree with him totally.

yes but he said that syrup is a downer and mucinex is an upper
both of which contain DXM

which makes no sense because its the same drug :|
and its totally possible to extract DXM from syrup
 
whoops, looks like I had it confused with something else... it just contains Dextromethorphan and Guaifenesin... so ya, I donno.

yeah
and you can buy generic cough syrup that contains just dextromethorphan or dextromethorphan and guaifenesin
so it makes no sense as to why he would say that

he also told me he used to rob houses for money to get weed and that because of marijuana, he tried heroin, PCP, meth, and all this other shit and then he started spouting all this realigous christian stuff
then he said he only drinks, smokes ciggs, and does pharmecutical pills now

then he called me a loser for smoking marijuana medicinally :|
saying im bullshiting him when in reality i smoke it for migraines, insomnia, and anxiety issues

lol me n some friends of mine asked if i had any bud cuz they wanted to smoke n that guy overherd us talking n said weed is for losers n shit n he prefers pharmecuticals and i simply said "oh thats cool, i dont like those much, im more into things like psychedelics and stuff" and he told me he used to Dex all the time so i thought oh cool, new tripper friend......man was i fucking wrong xD
 
When ever I have robo triped (years ago) I started to feel a little sick and got really triped out. I always thought it was somewhat of a triippy downer too. I can see this is incorrect but U cant b madd that someone thought it was a downer when they never had the pure shit. due to the fact that the syrop has alcholl in it that is a downer people normaly feel a lil sick after chugging a cbottle or two of syrop. I donno in my Point of veiw its def a trippy substance but I wouldnt really call it an uper or a downer it more of a psychedelic

well the issue i had with him wasnt much of him claling it an upper or downer

its that he said that mucinex dm's DXM is an upper while any syrup's DXM is a downer

now that really makes no sense when its the every same drug
Maybe because Mucinex Pills are designed as time release and lower plataus are known to have stimulating effects, taking a bunch of mucinex for the DXM could cause the half the DXM to be released and the rest to slowy be released, creating a longer lasting, but lower platau trip? idk
 
And if your downing whole cough medicine bottles for this DXM, how about the amount of paracetamol and other ingredidents that could also cuase some sort of OD? It all sound stupid to me. All drugs are easy to get, so get drugs that are for the sole purpose of getting hi!! not cough cyrums!!!or glue or solvents
 
"Upper" and "downer" are such useless, meaningless labels, anyway. There are more than two directions drugs can send you. Let's just call it a sidewayser ;)

you can get them without paracetamol. Anyway people can take what they like, can't they?
 
its just the absorption rate. mucinex is straight stupid.
zicam cough spray or robitussin max are the best and most readily available imo.
 
^^^^^^^^^^ zicam is the super way to go if ur gonna b doing DXM I never though about this while doing it but what if someone was to take the ZIcam and empty it on a plate let it dry wouldnt u get a powder. so it could b snorted extra...

And or just make it so it can b taken without the taste of a whores cunt who shoves pills in her pun to get high
 
^Oook don't really know what to make of that last sentence...And yeah Zicam contains alot of other inactive ingredients so you would not get DXM powder from letting it evaporate. Also, I don't believe insufflation is an effective ROA for DXM.
 
Whats the big fuss about this DXM then? I understand its a cough mixture and having loads of it gets you high but is this like a big thing in the US cuz I never hear of people doing over here in the UK
