Last weekend I had my first experience with valium. I had 7 of the 5mg pills and overall had a good time. My mate had 28 of the pills and he had a truely sick time ;) What are the possible dangers of taking this many valium pills for a first time user?

CHEEEEEEEEEEERS.

The biggest risk with taking too much of a benzodiazepine like valium is lowered resperation and hear rate. Eventually, this could lead to death because your body would slowly get to the point where it simply stops breathing. But this is highly unlikely.

Unless mixed with other drugs such as alcohol or opiates, the chances of this type of benzo overdose is slim. You would have to take a massive amount of benzo's alone to kill yourself.

but its still no reason to be wreckless and take as much as you please. Just be carefull and use common sense.

Yeah, he's suffered pretty bad memory loss. He doesn't remember literally anything for the 2 days after since he dropped the first 4. I could still feel it the next day after 7 and he said he thought he felt normal but he was obviously still fucked if he doesn't remember anything for 2 days after. I hear next time he's gonna do 500mg...

As long as you have a machine to keep you breathing go nuts. Anyway I've found the following quote from Wikipedia reassuring at certain points in the past.

Wikipedia said:
D. J. Greenblatt and colleagues reported in 1978 on two patients who had taken 500 and 2000 mg of diazepam, respectively, went into moderately-deep comas, and were discharged within 48 hours without having experienced any important complications, in spite of having high concentrations of diazepam and its metabolites—desmethyldiazepam, oxazepam, and temazepam—according to samples taken in the hospital and as follow-up.

EDIT: Tell your friend he is a noob ><

will do buddy! Hopefully he'll be alright, think he's doing them tomorrow night! will keep you all posted :)

ya dude my first and only time taking valium i prolly took over 500mg. i took about 300mg, blacked out and took way more(not sure how much since i cant remember!) i seriously dont remember about 3-4 days of my life. i was a manager at a restaurant, and apparently i went to work, went into my bosses office, and sat down next to her and fell asleep on her desk lol. i had to ask all of my friends what the hell happened to me. its like having amnesia. your body just goes on autopilot. i seriously didnt feel normal until about 3-4 weeks after. fucked up shit man. not fun at all.

Why would you take 500mg of valium for your first time? That's 50 10mg pills. I just dont see how you could have thoguht that was a good idea in the first place(even if u started with 30 of them)??

I think the biggest risk with a first time user doing so much is the potential or having it be really enjoyable, and then repeating the experience. At doses that high a physical addiction can build rather quickly.

Benzos are something you do NOT want to become dependent upon, it will change your life for the worse.

And yes, cognitive problems and possible respiratory issues are not at all out of the question for high doses.

5mg pills

I hear next time he's gonna do 500mg...

Who in their right mind would take 100 pills of anything?? You said he didn't remember anything even 2 days after.. but, eh, another 360mg's shouldn't hurt! It's sooo fun to not remember several days of your life! And you get so much street cred if when you finally come out of it you're handcuffed to a hospital bed!

Kids these days... 8)

he took 300mg in the end, hes now passed out in the room next door

Is he aware that's a rediculously high dose for a beginner / someone with no tolerance? Normal doses are around 20-40mg when just starting out. If he continues to take stupidly high doses like 300mg+ you can only expect him to end up passing out or doing very dangerous/life threatening and stupid shit every single time. None of which is enjoyable at all, so he's an idiot if he continues to do it. :|
