Hi , just wondering if anyone read the Sun newspaper yesterday? It had an article about this drug that dentists/doctors use and is widely availible on the net and is meant to produce effects similar to cocaine but a bit weaker. Could anyone tell me the name , I beleive it started with benzo and its a anaesthetic. Any info much apreaciated as i would like to read up more about this.

I recommend you check out the European/ African Drug Discussion forum; your fellow UK posters are much more prevalent in that forum, and discussion on the unique drug market there tends to be centered more in that forum than this one.

benzodiazepene is the name of the group of drugs, there are plenty, but in the US dentists use midazolam

he isn't referring to benzodiazepines, he referred to it as a weak cocaine (even though it is nothing of the sorts)......so he was thinking of benzocaine.

We can't help you out here, since this is going to end in speculation.

Lots of chemical names have "benzo" in it, so I wouldn't know where to start to help you out.

Your best bet is finding a copy of the newspaper so you can get the full name, and research it from there.
