Opioids urgent- should i be worried about my health?

i was not quite sure where to post this. perhaps the title was misleading- i dont think my life is in danger, but i fear i may have damaged myself and need to know if i should take any action.

earlier today i took about 450 mgs of tramadol (i have a tolerance). i wasnt really thinking, and i took about 40 or 50 mgs of DXM (not to get high, i have a legit cough).

i feel very sick. i have been vomiting several times an hour for about two hours. i feel half asleep, like im nodding, but not pleasant. should i be worried about seratonin syndrome of organ damage?

edit: i just got some promethazine suppository to relieve this terrible nausea. would it be a bad idea to take it?
 
Almost sounds liike a tram overdose. I've not heard of prometh having any interactions with tramadol b y itself but with dxm i cannot say for sure.

Hang in there man, the dxm was low dose so i think u will be clear of seratonin syndrome.

DXM was a low dose, but Tramadol was a moderate dose. I don't know a whole lot about serotonin syndrome but that's definitely a concern. Although you could just be getting sicker, you did say you had a cough.

i highly doubt you'd succumb to serotonin syndrome, though it is very unwise to mix DXM with opiates. my friend was hospitalized when he did his usual recreational dose of DXM (at least 500mg) along with a single 5mg tab of oxy... the mixture should not be messed with , though i'm sure you'll be fine as it seems that the DXM would have more of an effect than the opiates, and you've only taken a minimal amount of such.
 
did you take pure dxm? if there is an antihistamine in there you could be looking at serotonin side effects. dxm and tramadol are broken down by the same enzymes, so be careful.
