"FDA bans Piracetam" - email from vendor

Just a reminder to everybody that vendor discussion and sourcing is never allowed here, even for (mostly) legal substances like piracetam and phenibut. That means no vendor names, no links to web stores.

cant it just be sold as a research chemical and the FDA wouldnt be able to stick their nose in it?

Or what does it take to be FDA approved?

its not like this is some drug that people are abusing.

Also there are other racetams that are not sold as dietary supplements that im sure do similar things to piracetam.

5-OH-DMT is scheduled. It has very few if any central effects unless administered in a way that bypasses the BBB. There's no logic in the scheduling system.
 
Just ordered another Quater pound of the stuff.

Why would they ban it though?

Makes no sense!

that is a good example of an oddity. however, 5-OH-DMT is so close to so many different active psychedelic drugs that it makes sense (to them, not to me =p) to ban it. piracetam is so far removed from anything that the DEA would label "narcotic" that in nearly all possible futures it will not be scheduled. stranger things have happened though, for sure.
 
I sent an email to the FDA asking for clarification, they got back to me today saying they had forwarded it to the appropriate party. I will post a response if/when I get one. If you read the letter they sent the supplier in question it becomes clear that it would be very (very) easy for him to bypass their regulations. He could throw a single blade of grass into every container, or just stop selling it under any brands, simply the name "piracetam" sans info regarding speculated health benefits.
 
Luckily for me it never worked. I'm sorry for those who depend on it. Do you guys buy it because it is the least expensive or because it works the best? It seems that the stronger ones will still be around, the FDA never makes any sense.

Piracetam works better than any of the other -racetams for increasing effects of tryptamines and MDMA...
 
Well it looks like the website that I ordered my 500g PRIMAFORCE tub from a week ago is no longer carrying it because "the manufacturer discontinued its production". So I think it might be happening.

I'm sure some places have stock they're trying to rid themselves of - get it while you can.
 
You can still get them from Canada... just found a few sites in Canada with it - expensive though - but the option is there.
