Hey guys just had a quick question here. My girlfriend was wondering if you have less of a chance to get an abscess if you were to water down your heroin when you muscled it. I don't believe that it is but we just want to get your guys opinion on it thanks.

what do you mean by "muscled it"???

do you mean intramuscular injection?

if thats what you meant than your whole question is pointless because thats what a IM is....its injecting a solution under your skin to form an abscess that slowly gets absorbed by your body.

I dont get why you wouldnt understand that?...have you never IM'ed before? when you do it, you get a lump where you injected...thats an abscess. You can rub it to let it dissolve/absorb into your body.

An abscess is a localized collection of pus in any part of the body
that is surrounded by swelling (inflammation).

Just because you missed a shot, which I'm pretty sure is what JamesBrown is talking about doesn't mean you have an abscess. You should NEVER IM any street drugs or pills. IV it, snort it, or plug it. IMing will result in abscesses and no, watering it down will not help.

JamesBrown.. when you IM, you go into the muscle.. I think you are talking about missing a shot IVing which would result in a subcutaneous injection.. the bump you see and massage away is just a miss. If you don't miss a shit ton it usually goes away, but sometimes may get infected and result in an abscess.

No Im definitely not talking about missing a shot....if thats what I meant I would have said those words. I was talking about injecting a solution into a muscle under the skin causing a lump to form because the solution doesnt get absorbed instantly...it happens over time....therefore there is a lump until it dissolves....and another word for lump is abscess...

...therefore your purpsefully putting an abscess into your body when you IM

^ You're wrong. An abscess is not just another word for a lump. There are two kinds of abscess - sterile or septic. What you are describing is neither. You seem to be posting incorrect information (loudly) all across Bluelight. Take a deep breath and only post only when you actually know what you're talking about.

OP could reduce chances of an abscess by putting the mix through a 0.2 micron filter, which will remove bacteria.

Yeah James, an abcess is an infection lump of pus, not the same as a missed shot which is a lump of liquid sitting at the skin level. If you IM a shot it's just a lump of liquid which absorbs into the muscle, but if it's dirty you risk an abcess which is way worse than a missed shot.

This is the second time this week I'm blanking on it, but there's a type of water used to help resist bacteria particularly (if I recall correctly) that is used for steriods. Also, the micron filter is a solid way to help.

I never said anything about a missed shot

I was also talking about using the word abscess in the definition used where I live....

...where I come from...an abscess can be used to describe any type of lump or similar structure underneath the skin...I wasnt referring to your guys' "technical term" for it. Sry if I didnt clarify it.

Trust me I know what im talking about. In fact I have gotten several compliments on my posts from several of the moderators/administrators. And I think very thoroughly before I post and just because alot of people have different experiences than I do with the drugs they take doesnt make me wrong or "incorrect". It simply means that everyone is different which I hope someone who has the ability to type could understand.

So stop treating me like I just go around spewing false information around BL.....

...THAT would be incorrect information.

Bacteriostatic water? Idk but I think I read about that on bl.

And Jamesbrown, are you talking about "skin popping"?

No, well, I dont know, im not sure what you mean by "skin popping"...

....im talking about an intramuscular injection of any solution.( IM )

"skin popping" is when you pinch your skin, and try to shoot i guess between you epidermis and dermis. not sure.

When docs do a tuberculosis test, they "skin pop" and put a little solution under your skin, then check it in a few days to see how it reacted.

Well I guess thats not what im talking about then because that doesnt sound like its intramuscular.

No. its not IM, I was just seeing if that was what u were discribing.

Dude, you're not in some exotic country, you're in fucking Texas. The definition isn't any different there. You got it wrong; Baybe, Flex, and Georgie are correct.

Jesus calm down man....how would you know how the people in my life use the word abscess?....apparently you think your a psychic or something....if you are, your not a very good one..

..and BTW, i never said they were wrong, in fact I said they were right technically speaking...

...so please take your assshole attitude somewhere else...no one was starting a fight or argument here, so leave it alone man.

Are you really gonna start throwing cuss words and racist slurs around again?

When will you learn that Bluelight is not the place to treat people like this.

Ive explained myself thoroughtly...there is no problem anymore, or misunderstanding(except on your part).....so why dont you give it a rest and shut up.

LMFAO when did i use racial slurs? what in the fuck are you talking about. are you mexican or something? other than saying you must be on your period... wait a minute, do you think 'female' is a race?

Jesus Christ, cut it out! How many infractions do i have to give, posts to undelete, etc? Come on, guys... Act like you're older than 16 if you're not.

It doesnt work to tell him that......if you look at the posts, ive tried over and over to tell him to stop being rude to people but it just wont happen.

I apologize everyone for saying that the people in my life/area use the word abscess for mre than one meaning. Im truly sorry that I confused/angered some of you.

For the record...an abscess is technically an infected puss filled lump on a part of your body, usually as a result of a poor injection.

Once again, I apologize, deeply, for causing ANY confusion there, and I deserve to be treated like an idiot for it.
