New Oxycontin Formula Countermeasure

Who ever said the thing about shipping...

Correct me if Im wrong , but I was under the impression there is NO 80's in Canada..

Also , I read in that novel from the DEA that Opana has also become tamper resistant...

AND in a little bit , I dare not even say that there wont be a way around this clusterfuk ..But if it maintains that OPs are not being abused , Purdue stands to make more money because the pressure will be off the oh so tabu Oxy and an increase in scripts will be the result....

Think it thru..Read what the DEA has to offer even regarding other subjects..there is a thing on Sched 2 meds that is literally over 60 thousand pag3s...

unless this is something new oc 80s are available in Canada, they have a different marking on them but look the same otherwise. I can't remember what the marking was but i have gotten them a few times.

op's verses oc's

i have been taking oc orally for like 8 years easy, then someone got me into snorting them and i am almost glad that the formula changed, so i can do it properly. i read something on here that the op taken orally were not as effective. i have only just got 1/2 my script was oc and the other op and i owed so many people in trade, that i only got to try the op twice orally. i actually liked it. i need to do it more consistently to be sure, but i take 80ml 2x a day. and methadone 20- 40 miligrams when the oxy had run out when snorting it. going to miss it, but like someone said somewhere i read on here, all good things come to an end. but i dont think it will be too long before someone figures out how to do them recreationally. what does anyone else think? thanks 8)
 
if you owed people some oxy, I would've given them the OP and just told them thats what the pharmacy gave you as your whole script and kept the OC to myself.
 
Forgive me if I'm sounding like a jerkoff here, but I don't understand why people (those who are looking for a high at least, perhaps not pain management patients) are STILL making such a big deal about this. What's the big issue with switching to IR oxycodone?

I agree to a certain extent. The issue however, is this:

The new formulation, even when not abused and taken properly in an oral manner, does not achieve the same peak blood plasma concentrations as the prior formulation did. The problem this presents, is that people will literally go into withdrawals from running the same dosage of the new formulation, as they did of the old formulation.

I have a feeling Purdue is going to have to retract their formula from the market, as they did not think about this fact. Where perhaps 1 OC80 was an effective analgesic for a patient for 8 hours, people are now finding that 2 OC80's must be ingested over a 12 hour period for the same analgesic activity.

Really fucked up beyond all belief if you ask me. DEATH TO PURDUE!!!

Yeah, what you said is all true, and this new formula will definitely affect pain management patients negatively. As for those looking for a high... there's honestly no reason to keep complaining about this... simply switch over to 30mg Roxicodones, problem solved.
 
those people looking for a high are still complaining, because its not always a same person, its some new person that just registered or barely posts that just picked one up off the streets, doesn't know what to do with it and is too lazy to use the search engine. its the internet dude, its got all walks of life on it.
 
Hello I am new to the forum and have been on meds for over a year with an upcoming 3 level fusion on my c-spine. I was a chemical engineer for 6 years until the economy tanked 2 years ago. I have found a decent way around the controlled release gel mechanism of the new OP oxxys if anyone is interested.

Well here's the deal. The new ones are impossible to snort unless u go thru a full day of bullshit. But I found an easy way of separating the oxycodone from all the peg400, bht, etc. That makes the pill gel up as soon as it comes in contact with anything cause I have bypassed the controlled release mechanism completely. Thing is uyou have to drink the liquid left over after procedcure is done. And within 15 minutes or less u feel as good as if u had snorted the original oc. Plus its a lot healthy for u and last 4x as long as snortin the shit. If ur interested priv message me cause I don't want to share with everyone.
 
I have been on 3- 40s a day plus 2 30 roxys a day for breakthru for past year leading up to reconstructive surgery on 3levels of my c-spine on Wednesday. I was a chemical field engineer for 6 years until I got laid off 2 years ago some different things with the new OP version of oxys. White distilled vinegar is made up of a mild solution of acetic acid and pure lemon juiceis a citric acid comp. I take 2 tbsp of lemon juice and 1 tbsp of white vinegar and sliced up the 40 into small slivers. No need to remove coatin cause it is the same stuff that's in the pill itself. Just tinted hypomellose {tradename Carbowax} and peg 400. Mix up solution and stick in microwave for 10 to 15 secondcs and mix again. Let sit for short while and heat again after 10 min. Mix. After 10 to 15 min cooldown you will notice clear blobs of gel on bottom of glass. You have just separated the binder gel bullshit from the oxycodone. Oxycodone is easily soluble in warm water, acetic and citric acid, etc. The peg 400, hypomellose,BHT,pe-oxide, is NOT nearly as soluble persay in these liquids. But if u leave solution for longer than a few hours All of the ingredients will go into solution. After 30 to 45 minutes and you see the clear blobs on bottom of glass. Drink the liquid. It may be a bit strong but u have just bypassed the time release mechanism of the OP pill. And u will feal affects within 10 to 15 minutes. Hope this helps the ingredients will go into solution. The new oxy 's OP recipe have been broken there is a recipe that makes them snortable NO BS I found the recipe on topix.com it is as follows
Grind up the OP into a fine powder using a dremel or fine pedi-file
Put on microwave safe plate and heat 5 to 12 minutes, watching all the time untill it turns a golden brown, mabe just a shade lighter than brown sugar.
When golden brown remove from microwave THEPLATE WILL BE HOT
Put plate in freezer forat least 10 minutes until the brown stuff hardens.
Remove from freezer, dab off any condensation , and scrape off plate, and chop into lines.
You can let it sit overnight if it is still a little gooey.
THIS WORKS NO BS You might have to tweak cooking or freezing to match your appliances, but the product is ALOT STRONGER Take care when using.

What I am saying is give me a break, acting like there has been any "victim" of purdue making their time-release system MORE EFFECTIVE. Oxycodone always has the same BA, but their delivery system is changed to more reliably deliver the oxycodone. For people that need IR meds, there ARE IR meds. Oxycontin is not meant to be an IR med.

I have used opioids on occasion, but I don't have any illusion that big pharma owes me an easy to abuse medication! Its just silly.

I gotta agree with doko on this one...those big money making pharm's don't owe us shit!
 
you are so wrong!they owe everyone who takes this med legit,this was the only med that brought any relief,now that they have changed it,it does not work as well,now im in pain AND addicted.
 
I have had no trouble getting the coating off the new OP oxy's and a lot of trouble getting the clear coating off thats under the color coating. Once I did after 20+ mins it was equally as difficult to break up what I had left for snorting or possibly mixing for iv, but I know it will just turn to goo/gel up etc....

Purdue is a private company that had over 2 billion in sales last fiscal year and I bet that will drop by 25-40 percent due to the new formula....

According to my pharmacist, he received an e-mail with a new NDC number that will be a generic Oxycontin. I am prescribed the 30mg and there was never a chance to get a generic unless I wanted 2 go 2 roxi's.

I hope the new generics will be able to be manulipated like the "OC" old versions ones....

This method is talked about on the report that was given to the FDA....It was similiar to this mentioning that high heat to melt the different layers of the tablet combined with a way to make it hard again so that it can be broken up to be able to be chopped up, but according to the percentages of the active ingredient-oxycodone hcl-you only get 18-32% of the active ingredient so if you do this to 100mg worth of the new "OP" oxy's you would only get between 18 and 32 mg's of oxycodone hcl....

Worth it....? open for debate
