Smoking (Pure) Diazepam

I have about 250 mg of some pure powdered diazepam/valium. No binders, just the raw API.

I don't want to eat it or plug it, obviously can't snort it. I was thinking about it, and wondered if it would be safe to smoke it.

Does anyone have experience doing this? Are there any significant pyrolysis products?

You can technically smoke any chemical if it vaporizes at the right temperature and doesn't degrade significantly with heat.

wikipedia lists "smoked" as a ROA for temazepam, but i'd take that with a grain of salt...

How do you know that? Can you present some data? According to the previously posted data, diazepam melts just a tiny bit hotter than freebase cocaine. Also, I don't see how you can burn something if you heat it until it vaporizes but doesn't burn. It's a pretty simple concept.

Also, diazepam is administered IV and doesn't hurt your veins. Why do you think it would hurt lung tissue? Ah, that's right, breakdown products would hurt your lung tissues. So can you present some data as to whether there are breakdown products?

that is a bad suggestion. it doesn't dissolve in water, shooting benzos don't have a real rush like opiates or stimulants, and it burns like hell.

even if you can smoke it, it has no advantage over oral administration. i'd call somebody stupid who does this because it is a waste of time.

have you ever i.v.ed a benzo? if you have you'd know it burns. whether or not it damages the vein, it burns and is not worth it.

I didn't even read all this bs post but just putting it out there, the main route of diazepamn hci is vaporization, be it at home or a hospital, just be carefull, 100% diazapem will kill you if you smoked 15 mg.
,About 4 grains of sand, amount. The only other inconvenience is it high vaporization rate.
But I you have pure diazapam HCInor HCL then shoot it up.
10 mg will feel like 100

Im assuming you would want to use that ROA to get more immediate effects. I suppose the best way to find out would be to take an amount (say 5-10mgs) and vaporize it being careful to inhale all the smoke and not let any escape. I doubt the BA would be as high as oral but its worth a shot since you have the pure substance. This is the only way that i can think of as i couldn't find any information on smoking it. However, I DO know that the oral bioavailability is extremely high, and would be the best ROA in order to maximize the effectiveness. So yes staysedated is correct about that however hes grumpy and extremely unpleasant to converse with. If I were you, I would eat the powder somehow.
