I've come across some stuff that was apparently a 50/50 mix of mda and mdma. It was brownish/whitish with some red mixed in. I would describe it to look like cherry cola in powder form lol. It was pretty sweet, I didn't do a ton of it because I had already eaten a bunch of molly but I felt trippier after eating it. It was all powder/shards, I'd assume that the goopy-ness if from moisture getting into the substance. It's pretty hard to melt pure mdma (melting temp is pretty high, the melting temperature of MDA is lower but still pretty high), so most goopy molly is from water/condensation interacting with the substance.
 
It's possible to go from MDA -> MDMA, but it's not the usual route of synthesis. One would synth 3,4-methylenedioxyphenylacetone as the precursor in the production of either drug, and if MDMA is the target chemical then making MDA first is an unnecessary step.
 
why dont you just say MDP2P instead of methylenedioxyphenylacetone lol?

yes in a clandestine lab there is absolutely no point to going from MDA--->MDMA but i was jsut saying it can be done.

Yeah, Shulgin did go from MDA, but the MDP2P (I avoided the abbreviation for the purposes of clarity for those less informed than yourself, LM&A) synth is given right underneath, and I imagine that the latter is the one that is used more often. I wasn't disagreeing with you at all, you're completely right, I just thought that others (specifically rollinboobs) might be interested.
 
yep i had some earlier this year in the NE. was great.. very mellow roll imo. could have been the amount i took though

I can get MDMA no problem. Its MDA that I cant get. Not as much as I want anyways...
 
Well I haven't used it in a form other than pills except once and it was tested straight to black so it was MDMA :) but yea I'd like to experience the mda by itself.
Btw I'm riding the after glow of my first LSD trip right now. So sorry if i seem a bit frazzed

MDA will also turn Marquis straight to black (as will MDE, MDBD...), you need to use Simons or Robadope reagent to determine whether the chemical is a primary or secondary amine in order to differentiate between MDA and MDMA.

The effects I felt were nothing different than The MDMA I'd taken before.
 
I've gotten some brown, wet feeling/looking crystals that were mda, which in slang around here is sass... some were big crystal chunks and the rest of it was smaller shards... Theres quite a bit of it going around... but it's pretty much some of the best shit I've ever eaten, I definitely prefer it to an mdma roll. a tenth just blew my mind. Someone recently started making it... they were smaller, darker crystals, and were less wet-looking.
 
yes that shit was dank for sure cherry cola sass is flooding northeast right now but theres some shit i got my hands on recently that blows it away...shit was straight black and rocked up....97% pure
 
MDA is so much fun :) -

Apart from on these forums / pillreports I have never seen or heard of the substance sass (I know safrole etc). If half of the stuff has melted in the bag - pour some warm water on it and leave it for a while to dissolve. Drink and enjoy :D
