Hi to all from BlueLight. I found this after looking up some stuff on Google, and just started browsing around. I've been browsing here and there every day, finding all kinds of useful information and figured I'd go ahead and join. :)

I'm from NE Oklahoma, around Tulsa, and have lived here most of my life. I'm a young woman, at almost 19 years of age. I start University in less than 2 weeks and am enrolled to take Auto Body Collision.

Hope I stick around and continue learning good things! I hope I can also help a few people out during my stay here. :) Have a good one, everybody!

I really enjoy working on cars, tbh. :D And I really like playing music and reading/posting on forums, a lot. I also like to party and play video games, a lot. haha :D

Thanks for the welcomes!

blue collar work did it for me. portable and it doesn't take back biting to move on up to prevaling wage-just determination .
good on you Okie girl, welcome!

First off ~ welcome to BL Sheakillaa & enjoy your stay!

Second ~ kudos on both your future career choice (chicks who dig cars are automatically HAWT) as well as your talents in the musical instrument field. I have a HUGE fascination with the piano but haven't the slightest clue how to play (other then the good ol' party numbers such as 'Chopsticks').

Anywho - see you around the forum!

Take care,
R*B

Thanks for the welcome!

And yeah, I get that a lot about girls who like cars are hawt but then when it comes down to me doing something better than a guy on something which should be his field, it's a different story. ;) haha. Anywho, piano is easy once you get the hang of it. If you can read music, it's just application from there on out and that part is easy as pie. To me, anyways!

Have a nice night !

You're welcome! LOL ~ I'll admit it right now that you'd trump me when it comes to automotive repair. I know what I need to but I respect the fact that you've chosen that field as a future career.

I'd love to learn the piano as well as how to read music. It is mesmerizing to me. I get lost in both the beautiful sound the piano emits as well as watching the individual's fingers move across the keys as if they were always meant to make contact. Maybe that sounds nuts - pffft - I am ;)

Have a good night yourself!

LOL I just have a passion for automotive stuff, I suppose. And reading music is easy if you're patient enough and want to learn bad enough. ;) I like to record myself playing when I'm under the influence of any substance and listen to it afterwards then again when I'm sober. haha I find it entertaining :D

Damn...that actually sounds fun AND interesting!!! Hell, you could play the piano sober and listen to it while under the influence! Either way it must prove entertaining no doubt.

Do you have audio and/or video of you playing? I'd love to hear/watch it. Ya know - my all-time favorite piano tune is: "The Entertainer" though I have forgotten the composer and I'm simply too lazy to even attempt a Google on it :p

I did have some audio of me playing but they were on my iphone which got stolen less than a week ago! But next time I record, I will upload a few clips for sure and post 'em on the music board and let you know for sure!

There were a handful of female pressmen at the major daily that I worked for . Personal observation here: it doesn't do well to try and be one of the boys . Youngest femme pressman got totally shitfaced with her crew and rape was attempted .
The older women drew the line with the intoxicants and fooling around with the boys.
I have been around a long time and have worked with a lot of journeymen women who were not thought to be any sort of threat to their coworker males.

Dayum, I thought I was the only one there for a minute! Glad to see I'm not the only one. :) What area are you from in OK?

I know this is a little late to reply to this, but my place of residence happens to be Tulsa. PM me sometime, I'd be curious to know what substances (psychedelics particularly) you've come across in OK.
