Ok, So I have been addicted to heroin ( or to be more specific cheese) for two years now. I do plan to stop soon (just like i am sure everyone plans to do but it never happens), but I have not quite stopped just yet. Along the way in these two years somehow i developed bags under my eyes. Keep in mind that i am only 20 years old, and i do not let heroin affect my appearance in any other way. I would like to consider my self fairly pretty, but these bags are not only making people aware of my addiction, but making me look older and unrested! I know that most everyone that is addicted to cheese (or heroin) has this problem seeing as it gets packed into your nasal cavity.


LONG STORY SHORT! What do you guys do to get rid of the bags? I have tried ice under the eyes cucumbers cold spoons and cold rags! PLEASE HELP ME 8o
 
I have had bags under my eyes for several years now (I am 21).....it became prevalent when I started using pharms, such as benzos and opiates. It never went away, and even though I have been sober from all drugs except alcohol for about 6 months, they still persist. It is kinda annoying always looking like a junkie:\

So you think that they will NEVER go away?

I just started developing the bags a month ago? Hopefully if i stop now then ill still have a chance to get rid of them b/c if i am going to be honest here i depend on my looks a lot more than i would like to.
 
i have always had them. they get worse when you are malnourished or are not sleeping though. its usually that your skin gets pale and the contrast makes them more apparent.

try eating something....im sure you need to put on weight. that should honestly help you.
 
Ok yeah. I think its def bc of the heavy use of drugs and on top of that i work two jobs and dont get enough sleep.

I am goin to try and make today the last day i use.

I have told my self this for a year now everyday.... hopefully i can be strong this time.
 
Living a normal and healthy life really help it out. Mine went away for about 3 months when I was on a normal sleep schedule, was eating good and sober. It takes a while, though.

You may say that you don't let heroin affect your appearance, but I guarantee you it has. We very rarely notice changes in how we look because of how gradual the changes are. Each day, the change is so slight that it's almost indistinguishable from how you looked the previous day, so you don't see it, and as time passes, the change goes unnoticed because you weren't aware of it, if that makes any sense. For example, say you lose 10 pounds in a week. You don't notice it because you didn't lose it all at once. You wake up every morning and look in the mirror, and though you have lost a little bit of weight since the previous day, it's so slight that you can't see it, and you get used to how you look that day, so when you wake up the next morning, again the change is so slight that you don't really see a difference in how you look compared to the previous day, and so on and so on.

It's the same if you have a friend or relative that you see every day. You don't notice their appearance changing. But say you don't see them for a year, when you see them again, you notice they look very different. If you didn't look at yourself the entire time you used heroin, one day when you finally did take a peek, you'd notice the changes.

Heroin addiction always changes the way someone looks. Just because you don't notice it doesn't mean it's not there. I'm sure other people notice it. As for the bags under your eyes, it's very typical of heroin use. There's nothing you can do to get rid of it other than to stop using heroin, or maybe try getting a good night of sleep each night and make sure you eat right, but those are 2 very hard things to do when using heroin. You're just going to have to get used to it or stop using.

You're taking it the wrong way.

If i dont look good then i dont feel good. Honestly people treat you alot diff when you look good.


and do you know what cheese is? Its more specific b/c that is what i am addicted to i dont shoot up anymore i mix it down with cold medicine and snort it. After doing it for so long you develop an addiction to not only the heroin, but the cold medicine/sleep medicine.

Thank you so much. You're absolutely right about how it does change people. I am sure I look a lot different and just don't notice it! Thank you so much for the advice though!

I'm a man, what do you expect lol. IT's very good that you care about your looks, I'm impressed. Where are you from? I'm from Canada and women here come to school in their slippers and pijamas, the same was as they wake up. Not fun2watch :(
 
Your putting waaaay too much importance on physical appearance....your not gonna look good forever so its best to find something that can be with you forever and cherish that attribute, like a nice personality or soemthing similar.....because if you say that "when you look good you feel good"....that means you feel good because you think other people like you more because of your looks....well those people arent gonna be around after your looks go down the drain....try something more stable to focus on.
 
ive had black and blue-ish bags under my eyes my whole life (even when i was as young as 2 years old) so when i started doing drugs i did notice they got a little worse but no one else noticed, now im on subs and can't tell if they're worse or the way they have always been lol. so i guess im stuck with these bags for life, drugs or not. i have only met one other person who has had them their entire life regardless of drugs and i always think.. what the hell? i hope i dont look like that to everyone! lol. but im 21 and have 3 kids so i cant look too bad ;)

EDIT: and please.. no comments about the age and kids.. i've heard it a million times and i live it so save it. thanks %)

Looking good is nice, period. The ''looks don't matter'' or ''personality does'' it's the fat lady's moral booster. If you look good, you get better jobs, more promotions, better sexual partners and a better lifestyle in general.

I agree. I also agree with the other guy too though. I have a great personality, but i dont depend on either looks or personality too much, bc i know that without one the other is useless. My point was not that i am shallow and i only care about my looks.
 
Whoever asked what cheese is it's like:

benadryl + tiny amount of powder heroin and it somehow magically gets kids hooked on dope.

It's sold by 21 year olds to 14 year olds typically :P
 
It is much more frequent and generally admitted that there is an emergence of post fashion pessimism. Earlier, one could observe a prima facie a fashion enthusiastic society greatly dependent on looks and physical appearance. This seemed to evolve into post fashion pessimism where the common beliefs reject the virtues of beauty and fashion for a variety of reasons, one of them suspectingly being the rise of obesity in highly developed nations.

Actually ur wrong its black tar heroin broken down and mixed with tylenol pm so that you can snort it. You're an idiot where do you get your statistics from? b/c the ages very i know over 20 people over the age of 30 that do it! So maybe JUUUSSSSTTT maybe do your homework b4 you start flapping your gums.

You just sincerely annoyed me.


and its not a "tiny bit" you can mix down hundreds of dollars the powder turns out black/brownish color after mixing it down meaning it is very strong.

Its not a little white powder heroin mixed with benadryl. Although, some poeple do use benadryl.


I am sure some people do it the way your're speaking of but i dont know why that just sounds lame.
