took 10 5-500 vicodins

Yea dude... 2 of those fuckers make me yack cause of the tylenol. Much less 10 of them... I would call poison control! Death by tylenol isn't pleasant.
 
5,000 mgs of tylenol in one shot is alot. Try calling poison control to see if they can give advice on taking something that could help.
 
You are a slightly poisoned pup but nimrods have taken far more and survived to a ripe old age on drip lines. Just messing with you - wasn't a very bright idea but you will be fine . Kind of a desperate attempt at getting a buzz on though .
 
Don't call poison control as they have no knowledge, provide no medical opinion and will simply use caller ID to 911 you . That is first hand knowledge speaking.
Repeat....if you call you will hear sirens in the distance . That is what their job is and what their training commands.

No not Police but and ambulance and a trip to the ER. It is what they are trained to do . Your permission is not considered . First responders are what Poison Control considers the experts and that's what they send.

Smart man right there, If you are really concerned go to the hospital they can actually do something unlike some guy on the phone. Admitatdly, you will probably be OK might feel sick and have stomach pain. I have done stupid things before and taken near this amount and have been ok since and i have had liver tests run. Hope it works out.
 
i've been there man. you SHOULD be fine but still seek medical help if you begin to feel sick. don't stress yourself out too much and NEXT time do a COLD WATER EXTRACTION if you gotta ingest that much hydrocodone. just do yourself a favor and DO NOT drink any alcohol tonight or probably for the next few days for that matter.
 
I once ingested 6 grams of apap at once.....and I had no adverse effects. Of course everyone is different, and if you start to feel sick I would probably go to the ER just to be safe.

QFT. Follow this advice. Also, do not take any more tylenol for the next few days. Paracetamol's toxic metabolites can build up in the liver and taking more will only cause additional harm. You probably don't want to hear this, but the truth is you have permanently damaged your liver today. The damage is probably not very severe, but it is almost certainly clinically significant. ALWAYS extract when you are ingesting more than 2g of paracetamol with your opiate dose.

Wow you guys are that serious, I've taken 10-12 5/500's in a night (when I was younger/dumber) and didn't even feel nauseous. Yeah it might be bad for your liver but it ain't gonna kill you, lmao. thx for the laugh
 
I don't think you need to make yourself puke or rush to the hospital right now, but definitely drink lots of water and grab some milk thistle ASAP. And don't do this again without doing a CWE first.
You might end up throwing up anyways though because the Tylenol will most likely make you nauseous.

You need to think and if you aren't sure if something is toxix don't post. Good for you that you didn't even feel nauseous. I agree that saying go to hospital might be slightly overboard for 5 grams apap but you gotta think, a couple more grams, and that dose would certainly be a dose I'd be advising hospital immediately before serious liver damage occurs. The problem here isn't just death....it's also damaging an organ thats vital to us.
 
any higher then it would be dangerous but as long as your not taking that much often it will be fine as a one off.
