HELP ~ sudden adoption...

Fiance' just brought home some plants from a friends house, had to get them out due of his place. Problem is......we smoke it we dont grow it,

soooooo how do we take care of these things? They are in buckets and were growing outdoors up until them coming here tonight.

Due to where we are located we have to keep them inside.....how do we take care of these things? They are just about to bud, one is about 4feet the rest are 3feet or less....

Right now they are in a dark corner of the basement....what do we do, set up something here or just find a good area in the woods to plant them?
 
You can grow it indoor or outdoors whateva is easier for you.

If growing indoors you'll need to get proper lights, like HPS or fluro.

Unless the plant has already started flowering outdoors, then you'll need to force the plant to flower it's self by putting them under a 12(on)/12(off) light cycle.

You will also need to buy some bloom/flower fertilisers.

I would suggest reading up on Cannabis forums such as Planet Skunk, Ozstoners and ICmag to name just a few and read as much as possible. This is the quickest way to pick up growing techniques and advice ive found.

Not to be a buzzkill but if you've never grown before those are going to die pretty quickly, especially if they are about to bud.

You need to get them on a light rotation ASAP. Do a little research on the internet and you'll find enough information you need to try and get them to bud. It doesn't have to be a pro set up but you might be able to get some smoke able weed before they die
 
you can put them outside. it would be easier for you because you have never grown. but you need a spot where they will get full sunlight. im thinking they're probably going to die
 
If the plants were healthy at 3-4ft when you got them then they wont die as easily as people who posted may think. It seems like there the ones who havnt grown before.

I agree they would do better outdoors in your situation. You need to find a safe spot for them that recieves at least 3 hours of direct sun a day.

Can you get any pictures of them?

best advice.

There is a LOT of great how-to grow and newbie guides located around BL and the rest of the internet. I suggest you do some serious reading - to grow indoors and do so decently as best is something you need to be knowledgeable about.
 
I will take some photos when I get home from work this evening. Thanks for the advice everyone..... and will look into those sites wise420......checked a few our friend told us to, but the ones he suggested were more how to set up a grow room and all that ~ just not happening here.... not enough room and the basement is shared with 2 other tennants...sooo have to be careful, we have kids so our bedroom closet will be our only option thus all we will have acess to is light, water, and fertalizer for them.

IMO you would be better off finishing them outside and waiting untill you understand abit more things about growing like lights, temps, soils and all that.

As long as you keep them watered and fed outside they should finish up nicely, then by then you'll understand things a bit more and can proceed to start indoor.

I find growing can be more addictive then smoking.:)
 
So you'll put two 4 foot weed plants in the basement you share - But you won't put them down there with the necesasary equipment to keep them alive?

put them in an area that no one goes into down there... the old coal bin - just for the night till we figured out what to do with them....neighbors are not home right now so they are okay for a day or two, but not a permanent place!
 
Thats a grim situation you've got there - you wanna get 'em sorted sharpish though!
 
Honestly, if you do decide to grow them and they are just now going into flower at 3-4' your best option by and far is putting them back outside. Your closet would have to be completely emptied, some serious ass lighting bought and installed, probably some heavy LST and supercropping, man all kinds of shit.

How much head space do you have in the closet? Like after lighting and stuff. You need to think about ventilation, smell (probably the most important thing), security, kids and pets, nutrients, god the list goes on forever.

Growing is amazing, but it is work and requires money and some serious privacy. Go to growkind.com and read the FAQ. Not the best site for discussion and such, but amazing compilation of information for the new grower.

So basically my advice is to read fucking tons. Also think about maybe getting rid of all but the best looking plant. I think even that is going to prove to be a challenge.
