Opioids Defeating the new OC time release

Someone please try "post #94" and report back. I have a feeling all we need is water, a blender, an extra-fine metal coffee filter and patience.

Let's not panic, but put our heads together and figure this thing out. We'll try one method, if it does not work, we'll move on to another method, until we get it right.

If someone has a method that DOES work and knows about it, please do tell!=D

The new OC 80's have hit south Georgia just to let everyone know. I have a shitty picture of one, looks a bit different, kinda like a 60mg OC. They feel a bit different as well, but it's barely noticeable.
 
Has anyone figured out a way to simply cut these in half? I like to take 20mg at a time orally and I can't even cut them in half now
 
Also after taking these for a few days orally I have noticed a difference in effect. I seem to have more side effects than normal, like a headache and I'm feeling extra lethargic

Alright, I'm new here, but I want to share my thoughts. I'm in Southern Kentucky, the mecca for oc abuse.

I've read and reread the powerpoint slides from the FDA about the new OP. They are simply trying to "bust" the pill with a hammer and other tools.

I've also scoured and found that many people are "shaving" the pill with a hose clamp or ped egg (My bro actually had an idea to use a ped egg on an old oc many months ago). The second thought is getting the powder through the nostril asap. This could be accomplished one would think by snorting a fine power. Ever busted up a percocet or lorcet? It's too much powder, thick, hard to get down.

What works, what don't?

The thing that many people are missing, is that simply crushin the pill will barely effect the time release on the new OCs. Even when in a fine powder, they will still gel up, and be slowly released through the gel.

So crushing the pills into a powder is only step 1. It does not accomplish anything more that getting the pill ready for further steps in making it IR.

A friend came by like fifteen minutes ago, right as I turn the TV on he whips out four OC's and I'm not really going to argue. After a few minutes watching him I looked at one of the pills and realized it was different. After he blew a line he got up and said he was going back to 'dude mans' house. These are all over Maryland/DC.

They've hit hudson valley new york as well. Specifically about an hour north of the city, 30m north of westchester. People who filled there prescriptions 2 weeks ago got the old ones. Anyone who filled this week has gotten the OPs. I have 6 80 connects and each and every single one of them got there scripts these past 2 weeks and they were all OPs. Not a single old one found in any of there bottles. Boy it's a shit storm around here since 95% of the population under the age of 25 abuse oxy.

They can't even sell these new OPs for $20 a piece. No one wants them. Everyone is switching to dope. Luckily for me, I have ONE consistent, steady, Roxy 30 connect who is always good and never runs out(has like 4 doctors). He gets a mixture of the white Ms, blue vs, and the A 215s and I get them cheap at $15 a piece. I've always preferred Roxys anyway. I'd feel higher snorting a 30mg roxy then crushing and blasting a OC40. Don't know why, but the high from roxy always felt better.

So thankfully I'm not in too much of a bind, but a lot of people in my area are. My roxy connect only sells to like 6 people including me, so he never runs out and always has plenty to stay high and make good money. He already informed me not to tell anyone about the roxys as his customers are basically "invite only".

Really though, give it a month or so. These new OPs will be cracked and people will be back to abusing them just as they were before. I predict a lot of people are going to turn to dope or get on suboxone due to this, but the answer is right around the corner. Every addict in america is working on the solution as we speak. Only a matter of time friends.
 
Yea what a bitch!!! Opiates are aleady WAY over priced, now they will be even more expensive. Sure the price of Oxys will go down, but Roxys, Oxymorphone, morphine and even things like hydro will go up. Roxys where I am from already run $20-25 for a 30mg pill. Now, they will probably be around 30 to 40.

Dope is great and I would much rather just bury myself in that, but around here getting dope is sketchy as shit. The only place that I can find connects for dope are places that make me stick out like a sore thumb. I had it so great already, I had pill connects that would come drop off the goods at my door step, and now I gotta ride through the hood in my sports car trying to score... Not good.
 
I got my hand hands on 2 80's yesterday THE REAL ONES. I was very happy even though i had to pay extra i was happy. i feel like i got the last ones in the damn city. COMPLETELY DRY. This horrible. I hope everyone stops getting The OP's and Purdue has to bring back the old formula to stop them from going bankrupt. I won't even waste my money on the OP's. All I know is to buy stock in heroin, sales are gonna skyrocket
 
TerminalIsland I think your point on the formula getting out is a good one. It is in the best interest of the big pharma companies to have junkies addicted, though they would never admit it. It moves product.

Going to the other narcos seems unlikely, specifically Opana due to the fact that this is an Purdue formulation and Opana is an Endo product.

Going back to my DXM days, I remember there were ways to dissolve the polistirex found in Delsym to get a lot of dxm for a lot cheaper. Ill have to look that up more when I get back to my dorm. The theory seems sound seeing as both are an "edible plastic" designed to slow release their contents but I am certainly no chemist.
 
I'm almost tempted to buy one of these new OP80s just to tamper with it and see if I can get any use out of it. I can get them for $20 all day, possibly cheaper, since there is an incredible amount of them in the area, and everyone knows well enough that they are garbage, so no one is buying them.

I've been thinking...didn't purdue claim that if you were able to get the pill into powder form, and if taken orally, it will release like 40-45% of the drug at once, and the rest would retain it's ER properties? This wouldn't be TERRIBLE. So, with that said...I think I'm going to take a dremel with a really small bit to the surface of the pill while I hold it in needle noses. If that won't successfully turn the shit into dust then I don't know what will. I will then place in toilet paper and parachute. If I do end up with 40-45% instant release, it will still definitely be noticeable. Maybe in comparison of say, 30mg or so? And at 20 bucks a pop around here, that's still not terrible. Shit, real 80s sell for $60 here all day, even before this news was apparent. Now, the people with the only remainders sell em for $70-80 each, and there running real low as of right now.

I wonder what it would be like to just grind up 3 as finely as possible, and parachute them. Would this theoretically be releasing 30mg oxycodone every hour or so, since the pills should stack? If that's the case, it's not terrible. I wouldn't mind a 12 hour high.

If that don't work, I take one for the team and be done with it, and go back to buying my beloved roxy 30s and the bomb ass dboy we have going around right now. My tolerance with the normal shit we get around here is about .4 snorted, and .2 IV. Well, I got this new shit and was warned it was extremely potent. Thankfully I heeded that advice, and decided I would only iv .1 to be safe. Long story short: Most intense opiate rush I've EVER experienced, and for the first time in two years, I was so high from an opiate that I puked on come up. I ended up getting a bundle of it for $80 and well...my tolerance is fucked lol.

the positive thing is that people who actually need oc's are gonna get them and not be tempted to abuse or get to high of a tolerance if they do.

Which is what the pill is meant to truly be er.


purdue already got there money.

is purdue a public company? someone should look to see how much stock they sold between last year and now
 
Just a thought, with that graph someone posted... if you just took 3 OP80s ($20 each ), it would give you the same high as an insufflated OC80 ($60) for a much longer high.. no?
 
Haven't seen these in Colorado yet.... I hope not to these would suck. My condolences for those who have had to experience these plastic mother fuckers.

Maybe. I hope the price for them would go down that much if they ever hit here.

i loved snorting them as much as the next person, but if i take 3 of the new OP80s and it equals out to a LONGER and just as good high, then i think its a win situation, no? People are already saying that peopel are selling them for 20 a piece.
