Having problems and I'm scared.

I took alot of ecstasy a week and a half ago. I took 5 120mg molly caps and 2 strong cap doses of methylone. The molly was tested with the regents. Tested clean. Went way overboard. I've been using ecstasy on about a once per month basis for a year and a half.

At first I was fine. But a few days later I started experiencing some intense deja vu. Over and over again. As well as vertigo and a general feeling of being out of it. I googled the symptoms I was having and it came up I could either be having severe anxiety or having simple partial seizures.

A few days later the deja vu is barely reoccuring. Now I have anxiety attacks. Some are pretty severe. Even worse, I just feel out of it all of the time. Sometimes I feel like I'm dreaming. Maybe you could say I'm e-tarded. I'm also very depressed and anti-social.It's weird though because every comedown I've had from taking MDMA has only lasted a day or two. These symptoms are present 10 days after my experience.

I don't feel like myself and I'm worried I caused permanent damage to my brain. Is there anything I can do? I just want to be normal again.

I don't think you damaged your brain hun, I know a guy who di a whole lot of mollie as well as pot 2 c b acid. He had panic attacks for about 31/2 years. He is all better now.

You could have dangerously low levels of one neuro-transmitter or another....I am not an endocrinologist, though most doctors are fairly useless for vague and ephemeral symptoms....they are better at common textbook predictable pathologies that can be detected by their routine tests....It MIGHT be worth seeing a doctor. If you can afford a private doctor outside of your primary network, that might be good for protecting your privacy and keeping you from being flagged as a drug user....but its up to you.

Getting good protein and B-vitamins, healthy HDL cholesterol (avocados, Omega-eggs), peanuts, chocolate, turkey if you are not veggie, and maybe 5HTP supplements could be helpful.

Dont let your blood sugar get low. Your hypothalamus might be confused, but dont let a lack of hunger prevent you from eating....eat healthy slow releasing carbs, not simple sugar followed by periods of fasting. Drink more water and avoid coffee....maybe small amounts of weak green tea, but dont be trying to get a caffeine high.

I have also gotten benefit from Rhodiola Rosea, Siberian Ginseng and Camu Camu....but only well after the drugs are out of your system, as they do have MAOI activity.

I find it hard not to be judgemental but...yeah...what did you think would happen :|

You just over did it....its going to take a while but I am sure your will feel right as rain in a week or 2. you didn't mention anything about your usage rate...Is this a regular thing for you to do this much? how often do you use MDMA? This could have alot to do with why you are feeling so out of sorts too.

Best you can do at this point is take a long break from drug use.

You don't have permanent brain damage for one thing, so don't worry so much.

Second of all, no one on BL is your doctor, so please take everything here as a simple suggestion, and nothing more. If you feel like it is something really bad, go see your doctor.

In my opinion, you could have anxiety from the MDMA (I'd say it's common for people who abuse it) and you could potentially have HPPD, which would explain the dream "out of reality" state you're feeling. My guess is it's a combination of the two.

Curious, did they suddenly stop or did they get easier and easier to deal with over time?

You'll be at least depressed for a couple weeks after overuse like that. I at one point did ecstacy 3 weekends in a row, in small amounts even, and was very moody with bouts of depression, then slowly returned to normal. As other members have said, eat healthy, and do see a dr if it's not getting better.

The human body is incredibly resilient. Problems like these, when concerning the brain especially (which a lot of its inner-workings are still a mystery to us), tend to cause panic in us and become very self-inflated. Give yourself some time to heal, best of luck.

as K-dazed says if you feel to bad go and see a doctor.

Mainly though what you have explained is quite common when you have been abusing MDMA for a while or have even just taken a lot in a short amount of time.

Take a break from all the stims and I would assume you should be feeling better pretty quickly. 5HTP, Piractem, multivitamins and eating healthy/rest will all help.

Please learn from this though and s l o w down - if you continue to abuse MDMA and your brain like this these feeling may get worse/last longer.

Yeah take a break from the partying to let your body/mind heal. You said yourself that you overdid it, so you know that using such large quantities of pills is not doing you any good. MDMA in itself can cause anxiety, but mixing stimulants together I'm sure is even more likely to cause problems. So take a good long break, take care of your health, and if you ever do resume using MDMA try to do so moderately and without other stims :)

I have had weirdly similar experiences...I tend to go on long binges and get the same symptoms as you... the deja vu thing, the sense that reality is not real.. like its all a dream.. crazy anxiety, depressed, anti-social... In fact some of the posts here are helping answer some of my questions about myself...My symptoms never lasted more than 2 weeks, and they eventually went away... I all I can say is try to eat healthy, caffeine&sugars-no good-, and try to keep yourself happy because time will heal if you decide not to go to the doctors <3

I've had the deja vu thing happen, and I found it quite frightening too. Anxiety and panic attack symptoms are possibly the most common after doing too much mdma. You'll be ok, I know it's frightening :(

11 days now and I still feel depressed. Also having alot of depersonalization. Like I feel like I'm not living in reality.

My concious mind works perfectly.. I can problem solve and live a normal life but my sensations are all screwed up. Sometimes I feel like I'm about to collapse.

It could be alot of anxiety.

Will this ever end? Anything I can take to help with this? (Smoking weed is making these symptoms worse)

This is normal. You did a lot of MDMA and you're going to feel this at least another couple days, possibly another couple weeks.

What can you do? Take a nice, long break from MDMA. If you disrespect this drug, it will disrespect you.

yes weed makes it 100% worse!! I have been an everyday weed smoker for years and I agree smoking at a time like this makes it so much worse, first it makes you feel sick and dizzy, then it makes you even more depressed when you comedown (JUst my experience) have you heard of or tried 5htp? it took a few times but after the 3rd time taking it it helped me alot...I eat just one in the day sometime and I wake up feeling normal and not extremely depressed for no reason. I feel Ive been in you situation many times...the last bad time I could not even chop vegetables my motor skills were so fucked. I was crying going "Im an actual etardIm an actual etard" the point of that is as bad as it seems now you will definitely be back to normal...:) I know living these days is hell theres not much that makes it better...try 5htp oh and if you can find this tea with Valerian root...its amazing for sleep or chilling me out when I can't smoke <3

You might be developing panic disorder, and it may have nothing to do with your mdma use. I rolled everyday for about 2 months straight starting right before this summer without problems other then tolerance. I was going through a gram of molly in a night before I stopped. I have had anxiety problems for years and what your describing is how I felt before I got on klonopin. You ought to see a psychiatrist.
