Pupil Dilation

hi guys

I have some 2cp which u would know if you saw my other thread. i have a question about the pupil dilation of this drug

anyone who has taken it: is the pupil dilation really big like E and shrooms? or is it mosre like lsd? i dont get huge huge pupils with lsd but they are still kinda big

also how long will they stay dilated if any1 knows

I've personally never noticed a difference in pupil dilation when any of the drugs you mentioned are compared (2C-P, ecstasy, mushrooms, and LSD), my pupils are like saucers on any of them. Expect them to be pretty damn big for maybe up to as much 18 or 19 hours depending on the dose you take. I've gone to sleep after 2C-P trips and have woken up still having pupil dilation, but it seems to go back to normal in less than an hour after I'm up. The first time I did 2C-P, it was at 5mg and my pupils were still dilated after 14 hours. Peace.

Since the threads about pupil dilation I thought I'd ask something. This one time when I was coming down from an LSD trip, my pupils were really messed up. They weren't staying dilated. They kept going from big to small, small to big, and they kept changing really fast. I could also 'feel' them doing this. Like I was conscious of every little muscle in the eye. I was looking in the mirror seeing them get bigger and smaller. Has this intense pupil activity happened with anyone else? And could it potentially be very bad? The trip was very deep, and was sort of like I was reaching these incredible stages of consciousness where I could control certain parts of my brain I normally couldn't. Like I was in control of ones that your brain takes care of subconciously. I dunno it was weird. I guess my brain was just going back to normal then?

I've heard about this happening with ecstasy, but not with LSD. I don't know the proper term for it, but what I do know is it's not really normal. However...you're still here, and fine, right? I wouldn't worry about it too much.

5HT2a activity itself causes mydriasis (dilated pupils), but how exactly that all works is not known. Like most psychedelics, 2C-P is a 5HT2a agonist, so it would be expected to produce mydriasis.

Since the mechanism for all this is still unknown, there's no reliable way to predict which drugs will produce more or less mydriasis for a particular individual besides good old fashioned trial and error. Some people seem to get massive saucer pupils from some psychedelics and little to none from others, while other people get a more uniform result regardless of the specific drug taken. In my experience, at least, it also seems to vary a great deal with dose and tolerance/frequency of use. If I abstain from psychedelics for a long period, almost any dose of almost anything will give me saucer pupils. When I go through periods of binge use, I tend to notice less pupil dilation, unless I ramp the dose way up at least.

I wouldn't worry about pupil dilation in most cases. Are you worried about getting in trouble or something? In my experience, outside of peaking on the chem, the pupil dilation is not so absurd that it couldn't be written off as normal reactions to low light. My parents used to do LOTS of drugs so they recognize those kind of symptoms. But most parents (if that's what you're wondering about) don't even notice unless you have no color in your eye directly in bright light haha.

If light levels were changing, that would cause this normally. It could also have just been a visual distortion - you were trying to gauge the size of your pupils, so the acid decided to fuck with you a bit and make them seem to change sizes when they actually weren't. The only pupil-related condition that I know to be a potential sign of something seriously wrong is if your pupils get 'out of sync' so one is much larger than the other. This can be a warning sign of stroke or seizure, IIRC.

My pupils dilate and undilate repeatedly when I'm on LSD. Its somewhat like they are dancing. This is of course is all in the same light. Its just something caused by taking very potent drugs, I wouldn't worry about it.

I've had the changing of pupils on LSD before, and someone who was sober confirmed I wasn't simply trippin balls as I looked in the mirror and saw my pupils get real small for a sec then blow back up. and I agree, I get less dilation with LSD, still very big but not mega huge. I get glassy eyed with LSD too

I'd imagine 2c-p would make your eyes pretty dilated for quite some time as its very long lived. At anything above 10mg mine are dilated for almost 24hrs.

Nope it wasn't the acid fucking with me. I was coming down, a lot of those visuals were going, like things moving/morphing and stuff. And it was in both eyes. I had some intense out of body/3rd eye thing and it was like I was tuning back into my normal eyes to this frequency.
