Red blotches that turn into open sores

The last 3 times my girlfriend and I have rolled, she's gotten red spots on her skin ranging from 1/4" to 2" across that stick around for quite a while (a week or more).

We rolled last weekend and they appeared, many in the same places as the previous time. The difference is that THIS time, a few of them, notably two on her face, have stuck around. Both of these have since peeled and become sores with associated scabbing. Neosporin doesn't seem to make them heal and we're concerned.

Has anyone ever heard of anything like this?? We take pure mollies that I've tested myself. No smoke from the reagent ala DXM or anything.

Its an uncommon side effect from what I have heard it usually occurs when someone over uses MDMA it creates marks on the body which then come into sores not too sure how to treat them though one of my freind uses aloe on them.

I've never heard that... I'm not trying to be an ass, but could you please tell us the source of your info?

Personal experince, Not mine but of two freinds of mine. They went to the doctors but its a rarity such as an alerigic reaction to the MDMA and what ever else that was in the pills. they look as if there little red ciricles however over time a few days to a week they become a rash/ herpes looking like sore.

This is basically what's happening. I suppose the next question is does your friend still take it? Does waiting longer in between uses decrease it?

My buddies Wife gets hives on her neck, chest and stomach the day after E or Coke. Not sure what it is. They (as far as I know) do not turn into sores, but they definitely itch her and do not look too attractive. Its not like it covers her whole skin, just blotches here n there.

Yeah, they wait to roll like every two months or so as they at first kept rolling like every week and the rashes became worse and more ittraible so it ruined e for them however, time and the use of aloe gel helped them along the way so now they know not to abuse MDMA anymore. As there sores are no longer visible unless they abuse it.

Oh geez. Thats crazy... I didn't think MDMA could cause an allergic reaction 8o

Its weird, I havent exprinced it first hand but a few buddies hve maybe its due to a humans immune system or the abuse of mdma, not too sure but there nasty as fuck looking and painfull from what I've heard.

That sounds pretty accurate, using MDMA weakens your immune system (that's what I've read on here) so I guess I really shouldn't be that shocked. Haha

I really appreciate this information! She's at the dermatologist right now and we'll see what is reported back.

Unfortunately it sounds like she might be abnormally sensitive. We roll once every month and take 2 pills per night. We will move it to once every 3 months and cut back to 1 and hopefully alleviate this!

She told me to thank you as well, so a big thank you from her :)

My understanding from reading posts of notable posters whose advice I value such as The DEAs is that its not possible to have an allergic reaction to mdma.

However it may be that she has a problem with sweating or a secondary reaction of some sort.

The dermatologist (unsurprisingly) had nothing interesting to contribute except to prescribe a cream for it.

MazDan, it is too specific to be sweat related I believe. The spots appeared in the exact same locations across more than one use more than a month apart.

Wolfy90, sounds like good advice. Thanks again!

Taking virtually any kind of drug lowers your immune response.
It's possible your friend has some kind of systemic infection (e.g. herpes) that breaks out when her system is subjected to stress.

The sweat suggestion was indeed only a suggestion...........as augusta has suggested, there are other possibilities...........however the concept of mdma itself causing a reaction...........Im pretty sure you will find its not possible.

Did you talk to the dermatologist about the mdma use?

it really sounds like an allergic reaction to MDMA. I'd suggest her not doing MDMA anymore or at least seeing a physician (perhaps a dermatologist that specialises in such skin rashes). For something to happen so quickly directly in relation to MDMA I can really see nothing else being possible.
