I removed 3 posts related to a joke made that could have been very bad if taken seriously by anyone, as well as one post that was pretty mean. For the record, I don't think this guy is trolling. Wise Owl, you say that if he knew anything about shrooms he'd know it was impossible... true. But it doesn't mean he's a troll, because a lot of people come here because they DON'T know pretty much ANYTHING about the drugs they're taking. I'd prefer MistaMcBuckets came here and asked, even if it's kind of a silly question, than that he just keeps on being ignorant of the drugs he's taking. Wouldn't you?
So Mista, to answer your question, this is not possible. Taking very high dosages of mushrooms extends the duration slightly, but not a lot, maybe to 8 or 10 hours at most regardless of high the dosage was. And tolerance to psychedelics builds more quickly than perhaps any other class of drugs... if you try to redose to trip again, you need at least double the last dose to get to even close to the same intensity. So if you took a 4 gram dose the first day to start it, you would need 8 grams 6 hours later to get back, and then 6 hours later you'd need 16, and then 6 hours later you'd need 32 grams (over an ounce)... and that brings you to only the second day. By the last dose on the 7th day, you'd need to take, in theory, about 536 million grams (I'm sure this is way more than would be necessary but the point is it would be a titanic amount). But in reality, even redosing with twice as much doesn't really bring it back to the same place, just similar, but without the magic. So basically after a day or two or three, you wouldn't be able to trip on mushrooms anymore until you took a long break.
More importantly, you don't really want to trip for a week. You would get overloaded and exhausted far before the end and would just be wishing for it to end. And when you overuse psychedelics that much, it permanently fucks up your tolerance and makes it pretty much impossible to trip hard after that, as far as I can tell forever, or at least many years. You can trust me on this because I went through a year and a half, ending at the end of 2007, where I tripped pretty much 4-5 days out of the week, sometimes every day, the entire time. And ever since, even after a 6 month break with no psychedelics at all and responsible use since, I simply can't trip like I used to.
