It seems like everyone enjoys clubbing and lights when rolling. I prefer quiet times - few to no people around - low light or no light. Anyone else feel the same way?

Never understood the appeal of light shows. I don't mind giving them and I'm decent with it, but I don't find them entrancing or all that cool personally.

i hate bright lights and i think its not good for eyes, when they cant protect them self.

Lightshows on MDMA are entertaining IMO, but i never got that eyes roll to the back of the head jaw on the floor look on my face. IMO that would be better with some LSD or mucks. But still lights and sound are very stimulating on MDMA to me, just not that trippy

I'm fine with lights, but lately the scene in my area has changed so much that I really avoid clubs unless a dj I really, really enjoy is spinning. The same rings true for events produced by a certain production company(MI). If I'm intoxicated in any way, I want there to be good vibes and good people all around, not 14 yearolds in bras and tutus.

Plus, rolling at home means clothing is optional and you can pick the music.

lmao @ 14 year olds in bras and TUTU's!!

Im pretty sure you guys are seeing those kids just throwing lights around in figure 8's in such. If you get a light show from someone who knows how to do it you seriously roll harder for the duration of the show. I love giving and receiving light shows during raves i think they are awesome. Also they are great for when you are just starting to feel your roll, a good light show will throw you into your peak.

If I'm rolling really hard, lights are too much. I'd prefer a rave to a nightclub, I don't think I'd ever go to a regular club on e.

I love lights, people, etc. while rolling which is why for me a rave is the perfect environment to roll in.

i lpve to roll at home its the best u can just relax and enjoy yer self with no distractions to yer high

I like music, a dark room, and a few friends. Maybe a few lights sitting around and some sort of visuals on a projector or television.

I dunno.

Lights (at least now) don't do shit for me on MDMA -- with or without piracetam.

I use mdma therapeuticly , no crack light or clubs I hate rolling in a sweaty crowded closed environment . my rolling routine usualy consists of a nice stroll around Miami's beach . Lots of blunts, nice chilled trance, lots of porn and sex.

Only rolled 1 time at the club out of the 100+ times, and avoid clubs when I'm rolling

The club is for alcohol and coke. But not to enjoy some thing as calm and beautiful as rolling

I also only roll at real big OUTDOOR massives.

^^ I feel you.

My first experience with MDMA was solo, and was extremely therapeutic. It set my standard and although I've rolled in clubs before, I find it to be so much sensory overload that I miss out on the introspective and personal effects MDMA has to offer. To each their own, I won't begrudge anyone who prefers rolling in clubs, but I prefer solo or partnered experiences hands down.

It's interesting to hear that some of you prefer going solo. I'm planning on rolling this weekend or the next, it has been a while, and I'll most likely end up myself at a music festival. Nice to hear that you are able to have a therapeutic/meaningful experience on your own, which is what I'm really looking for.

I'm right there with you. I hate the club scene, and I prefer to roll at home with a few close friends in a comfortable environment, but I VERY much love outdoor music festivals. They are the best.

I live in St. Pete now, and I was just thinking the other day about how awesome it would be to walk down the beach or the Baywalk while rolling. Might have to try it next time.

THANK YOU! I'm so happy someone shares my opinion! MDMA doesn't deserve the abuse it gets in clubs. Just my opinion.

Clubs are for wankers. I have fun at big raves cause everyones just as fucked as me, but when I go to the avalon I always feel like its a popularity contest and the drunkin sluts and bro doushcebags are always killin my buzz

lol, I feel the same way about the popular clubs. Whenever I go I am really hoping that it will be somewhat like a rave, but it never is.
