Getting em prescribed next week :]
on erowid it says its a hypnotic so Im guessing it has recreational value. Opinions?

Lunesta (eszopiclone) works just like all of the other "z drugs".

It is not a benzodiazepine, but acts in a similar way. If you are someone who enjoys benzos, than Lunesta could be potentially abused. It is C-IV in the USA.

what does C-IV mean? And I take klonopin is it anything like it?

C-IV means it is a scheduled drug. Drugs that are schedule 4 have a potential to be abused and cause dependence.

Klonopin is also C-IV.

C-IV drugs have less potential to be abused and cause dependency than those in C-III and C-II.
C-I contains drugs that are not medically used and have a high potential for abuse and dependence. Marijuana is C-I for some reason.

If you like drugs like Klonopin, then chances are you will like Lunesta. I haven't heard of many people taking them for a buzz per se, but are great as a sleep-aid. If you're looking to be high and like downers, stick with Klonopin.

I am prescribed lunesta (3mg), and while it is not a benzo, to me it has certain benzo qualities. It makes me sleep like a baby, gives me the munchies, and feels somewhat like a benzo, and when taken in doses 3-4x that precribed, it feels like I took about 2mg of xanax, but a little different.

some people mention taking ambien, ie. zolpidem, and 'tripping'
others do not
I would think Lunesta could be similar in that, maybe you'll like it recreationally, or maybe it will just send you straight to sleep with little recreation value (other than a good night's sleep)

Thanks you helped hugely.

I think Zopiclone/Eszopiclone is a hit and miss drug like Tramadol when it comes to recreational value because I find Zopiclone to be fairly recreational.

It gives me a pleasant feeling. I feel relaxed, all anxiety is gone and sometimes it even gives me the slightest head buzz.

That's me. Other people say it's crap.

Then again, I took considerable amounts of Tramadol when I had very low opiate tolerance and I found it to be crap.

Not nearly as good as Ambien (or Sonata from what I hear,) but I imagine if you take enough or combine it with the Kpin and manage to stay up you can have a little fun. I personally would also throw weed into the mix if you enjoy smoking.
Also tread slowly; you can always take more, but not less and tread extra slow if you are combining it with the Kpin.... mixing too much of CNS depressors = OD.

hahaha good times on Lunesta. Me and my friend each took 12mg and drank some beers and it was awsome, not that i remember much lol.

ALSO: the morning after, you mouth will taste like metal, which isnt pleasent and lasts just about the whole day

Not everyone gets the metallic taste, and lunesta feels in no way like ambien. It feels more like a weak benzo than anything else (at least for me).

John Q Fucking Christ I never realized that. I had hundreds of those for months and assumed it didn't matter. Shit the TV commercial calls it "non-narcotic"

Technically it is non-narcotic. Only opiates/opioids are true narcotics.

Law enforcement classifies all illegal drugs and possibly all illegally obtained controlled drugs narcotics.

Lunesta does have some recreational value, depending on a couple of factors. First being your tolorance to Benzos in the first place. I know what your thinking, Lunesta, and Ambien and Sonata, are all non-benzos, and they are. Their molecular structure differs from that of a benzo, however they work on the same benzo recetpors in the brain, having to do with the release of Gaba. Remember that all benzos and non benzos will work in the brain essentially the same, however somewhat slightly different because of their molecular make up. Valium may not touch someone when Ambien does, only because of our bodies chemistry and the slight variation of make up, again the drugs act in the same fashion. For me, lunesta does help with anxiety and putting my to sleep, and if I double the three milligram dose then I get a buz. If I want a recreational use though, I got with ten to twenty milligrams of Ambien. Ambien and Sonata give the closest feeling to one another out of the three non benzos, but remember that because they are different, they also distort your perception of emotion and reality, the non benzos much more so than the benzos. The only comparison would be to the down version of ecstacy. Thanks for reading :)
