In the past, I've taken 75mg of oxy to get high. I took 4 somas to sleep around 7:30am this morning. It's now 5pm and I was wondering if it's safe to take my typical oxy dose. I know soma's half life can be a bit long, but the effects are totally gone so I'd like to know if it's safe And if not, by how much to decrease the dose.

Sometimes it's a good combo, but somas are so unpredictable. If I was playing it safe I'd wait 4-6 hours or dose lower on the opoids and not wait cause some potentiates. Good luck!

Personally I'd say they go great together. But the harm reduction perspective is probably different. I really don't have a ton of experience with Carisoprodol so I can't make an informed statement

only take Soma if you are experiencing musculoskeletal pain, it is theraputically worthless for any other purpose - you are abusing it. in the end, you will want to avoid Soma regardless of your pain status, it is yet another mind-blocking, energy-leeching chemical agent

I'm taking the soma because I was recently hit by a drunk driver. I'd definitely not taking it (or any meds) long-term, just until I recover. Thanks for the concern though, I understand that carisoprodol and it's main metabolite meprobamate can be quite addictive taken long term.

Some take it for recreation... some for muscular pain some because they can't sleep... some just for the fuck of it... I take it in combo with opoids for pain but that's not to say I don't enjoy it.

Some of us need mind blocking from the pain. I have osteoarhritis, degenerative disc disease, discs collpasing on themselves, the discs in my neck are all bulging and my lower spine is mostly herniated. I also have scholiosis where my spine zig zags instead of straight.. I would gladly alter my perception of pain than be in it. Get off your high horse you judgemental prick.

I am also a chronic pain patient and was prescribed Soma for it, and I recently got off morphine and oxycodone and am simply dealing with the pain. it's tough, it's debilitating, the physical pain causes emotional pain, and all becomes one in the same as I'm sure you know. Soma is like the Zoloft of pain patients in some ways. I truly can't function as I would like to by any means, and basic things like walking and sleeping are very uncomfortable. but I am chemical free. so don't tell me to get off my high horse - I am not high like you.

Want a fucking cookie for being drug free for your chronic pain? Great here's a fucking cookie! I don't give a fuck how you deal with your pain but don't pass judgement on others for how they deal with theirs you holier than thou cunt. You sound like one of those whiney natural child birth women..

By the way Soma is Junk.

Masochism much??

Fun times on this one!!! Lol. Gonna say what I think now but I'm not saying this rudely. Just my opinion on the forum. I don't think people should be judgemental about getting high on anything on this site. All drug use has it's negative effects so it's hypocritical to bash someone for which they choose. We all have our stigmas about certain ones but abuse of any drug is abuse. If you are on here clean for information or support, it's rude and not helpful to make anyone feel bad. ESP since this is a forum so everyone can speak and learn openly. This site is mainly about people getting high. If everyone was made to feel bad for asking their questions, people would stop asking. Then people won't have this chance to become educated and make informed decisions. ANYWAYS. Thats what I think about all that. Not that it matters. Can't we all just get along?!?! Lol

About the soma. I think you should be fine to take oxy if you are not having any effects of the soma. It's been almost 12 hours so I think there has been plenty of time as well, soma don't last long anyways. If your concerned on oxy dose try less. But wait if not comfortable. It will only mess with your high if you think and worry.
