I was diagnosed with tourette's syndrome and ADD (Predominantly Inattentive) 11 years ago. The doctor gave me prozac and a high blood pressure drug at the time, I developed a social anxiety disorder 7 years ago and was very depressed a few years back. Im prescribed Clonazepam for the anxiety but lately I've been thinking about using adderall or similar medication for my ADD but im unsure if I have It at this age(Im 19).
I just feel worse & worse more recently, I can't get anything done right. What should I say to my psychiatrist that will really convince him I need adderall (or similar meds) for my ADD? I need examples of what symptons someone with ADD has, I read up on it but Its not enough. By the way I've had tourettes & ADD for 11 years now but was never treated for it.
