Hello,

I am curious about the drug "base". Apparently it's the freebase form of speed, and is meant to be stronger. However, I hear it often comes as a paste - if so, is it still possible to snort, and if yes, how?
 
Everytime I've heard a drug called "base" it's always been in reference to cocaine, but technically it can mean any drug that has been "basified" from it's salt form, I don't believe you would be very successful snorting a drug in base form unless it was converted back into an hcl(salt) format

Are you in europe? I known (from my time on BL, not personal experience) amphetamine there often comes in that form. Never seen it here (US). Here "base" usually means freebase cocaine. Amphetamine freebase is an oil, not somethng you'll encounter unless you are cooking. Amphetamine is can be made to a salt as (among many others never seen) either a hcl or sulphate. The hcl salt of amphetamine is hydrostatic, meaning it draws water from the air and quickly turns to the paste you see. This is popular with dealers as the water adds weight without adding other cut. It can be snorted, it's just a pain in the ass chopping it that fine. Of course this is not a problem by other ROA. You can try drying it with with a heat lamp or hair dryer. In the in it's just gonna be alot of work with a razor blade but it can be done.
 
When I've encountered amphetamine base, it's always been an oil.

It can't be snorted unless you convert it into salt form.
 
and to convert it to salt form, gas it with HCL or whaeva!
i thought base is jsut amp sulfate cut with hygroscopic cuts.
P is right about amp freebase though, adn amp freebase is caustic.

Amphetamine base can only be an oil. It isn't sold in that form, the stuff being sold as "base" isn't really base, it's just a name they've gave it. Only people who are making the stuff actually see it in the base form.
 
i wouldnt do base i have seen people who take this everyday and are now fucked up

heres your answer for what "base" means when talking of drugs.

it just a way to make it easier to smoke from what I understand. like, you can smoke cocaine HCL, but its a MAJOR waste as it requires a much higher temperature (cocaine HCL HATES flame, btw) so they freebase it with either ammonia or baking soda which makes it release its goodies at a much lower temperature (temperatures that bic lighters can reach), I assume this is correct with other drugs and why they'd make a base with other drugs.
 
I got some really strong amphetamine base about five years ago and it was very powerful. The first thing I noticed about it was the smell, the paste stunk of chemicals (like fresh paint). Ingesting burnt my stomach and it was very painful to pee whenever I took it - felt like an infection! 8o It kept me going for about 12 hours at a time and always had a great buzz but sleeping was nigh on impossible for 2-3 days after. Haven't seen any about lately though.
 
with regards amphetamine sulphate, "base" most often refers to damp low quality speed..

it's easier to gum it, unless you dry (&clean?) then snorting it's better..
 
why not just go ahead and make the amphetamine into methamphetamine ? It;s not difficult and I know from personal experience how easy it is however you will have to figure the way out on your own..lol...I am not gonna post any chemical formulas or recipes on here,and the base speed is just "bathtub crank " as we call homemade meth here in the US, or it is dirty cut amphetamine sulfate , nothing special about it..

Conversion of amphetamine to meth is possible, but it isn't nearly as simple as making meth from cold pills. If the guy only has personal use quantity it would certainly be more trouble than it's worth.

'base' as sold in EU is low purity wet/dampened amphetamine sulphate

NOT THE FREEBASE OIL
 
Over here when people want to snort their speed and it is fairly gooey and pure, they usually cut it with Glucose powder (found at any chemist or supermarket) and get a fair few lines out of it.

Without cutting it, it really burns the nostrils and can also cause nose bleeds.

Not sure if our "base" is the same as yours though.. no idea exactly what it is anymore

shit man...
base/speed in the uk it's really not that pure (10% was the figure that used to be chucked around)

funny compared to some of the 5% charlie nowadays
