Haha yes it is a pretty different genre. Cannibal Corpse is more death metal. You should check suicide silence out ;)

you're really calling alot of shit deathcore that obviously isn't deathcore... but

bring me the horizon is single handedly ruining music with their cookie cutter music and awful faggy haircuts. their fans might just be the most obnoxious things ever.

although you do have alot of good bands in the list. job for a cowboy, whitechapel [fuck yea], the faceless, OCEANO, ion dissonance..

evergreen terrace isn't even close, man. evergreen terrace is just a melodic hardcore band. they have next to no identifiable death-influences in their music.

I got this list off a site so idk. I dont even know evergreen terrace honestly. But most bands on the list I do.

Agree with malachi305, alot of bands on the list that shouldn't be. That being said I've started listening to Job For A Cowboy again this week, highly recommended :)

Question? I like a lot of hardcore, a lot of death metal and death core, just hard music in general, but a huge guilty pleasure of mine is Bring Me the Horizons 'suicide season'. I know it's not the most original sounding thing, but goddamn if it isn't insanely catchy, really melodic in parts, and really heavy in parts. So why does everyone hate this band so much (besides the haircuts)?

I like the bands first album pray for plauges but suicide season sucked.

I've seen Job For a Cow Boy twice. I thought they were pretty mediocre, at least they played before GWAR both times.
