i know drugs have different bioavailabiltys when it comes to how they are ingested. but will sublingual (under the tongue) always be better or at least the same as swallowing? like could swallowing a pill ever be better than just holding it under your tongue?

Not every pill is gonna be easy to dissolve sublingually. Pills like suboxone are designed to dissolve quickly, whereas other pills will take absolutely forever to dissolve under your tongue, which would be a waste of time/drugs.

try some xanax sublingual, tastes great 8) but works quick :)

Kpins under the tongue dissolve pretty quickly and actually taste good <3

but wayne you should know that not all pills should be taken sublingual

:)

also certain pills or most benzos i've taken work great under the tongue because it is a quick route to the bloodstream, kinda like a transdermal nicotine or fentyl patch. maybe? correct me if I'm wrong

Yeah sublingual is a very quick route to the bloodstream because there is a vein under your tongue with only a few layers of skin between it and the pill you're putting there.

yea that's what i thought, but I assume not all pills will work this way...

CODY what exactly are you trying to put under your tongue

Note that buprenorphine (Subutex/Suboxone) pills will flat out not work if taken orally. They are strictly sublingual-only.
