what the fuck man. this shit is retarded, ibe read read of people tripping way harder than this. but idk the only thing is feel is an extreme affinity to music right now.

i took.... 250mg of generic tussin for the first time. stomached it for about 3 hours then threw up. feeling so euphoric when music is on though... definitly one of the wierdest trips ive had. i usually dont fuck aroudn with this but i dont have a car right now.

sorry... i have no idea what the fuck im doing right now, this stuff is fucked up

its like i can feel the music inside my body, ive never felt this before, i can actually understand where the singers are coming from and why they made the song... the noose by apc holy fuck blew my mind.
 
smoking weed seems to potentiate DXM for me. the first time i took DXM i didn't feel anything for 3 hours after taking like 48 triple c's. I decided to roll a blunt and as soon as i took the first hit the whole world fuckin started falling apart.
 
make sure you take your DXM on an empty stomach. and also don't use the capsules. always take syrup. it'll give a much better trip. i took capsules once, and they all broke at different rates, and it was like i was pretty much sober. i did the same amount in syrup form and the effects were much more pronounced.

i usually like to enjoy the DXM's effects by itself first, then when i start to peak i enjoy the peak for a little bit, then i light a bowl of weed and shit starts to really get whack.
 
250mg is hardly a recreational dose, im surprised you even felt anything. 600mg is a good dose for a solid trip. It does have a slightly dirty feel to it, but its also a lot cheaper and easier to get than Ket
 
Shit I could have all the DXM I wanted for free, my girl walks out with half the fucking pharmacy everytime she goes in a store. I never did have a good experience on the shit. Kept trying for awhile because I love ket, but while I could see a resemblence it was like eating a bottle of concerta after you're used to shooting meth. Pot definately does potentiate it, though.
 
250 is a medium-ish dose. But I just found the best source for pure DXM ever...

A dollar store near me sells Select Brand Cough Control liquid gel capsules of pure DXM, 15 mg per capsule, twenty capsules per bottle - for ONLY $1 A BOTTLE!

Talk about poor man's ketamine, you can scrounge up enough change in your couch cushions to roll pretty hard for a few hours on this stuff.

I got to try K recently also, and I think DXM is nearly as good considering how much longer it lasts. K was more euphoric and intense, but I would roll DXM any day. And now that I CAN roll DXM for $1 I probably will have to talk myself out of doing it almost every day!

Not sure where you can order this if it's not available at your local store, but look around for it.

very nice find. do u know if there's a syrup formula as well? i haven't had very decent results with capsules.
 
I posted this before trying the pills. I took the whole bottle about 90 minutes ago and I am feeling very minimal effects. I had maybe too much food in my stomach, though I waited a couple hours after eating.

Any idea why these aren't working?

Again, it's Select Brand Cough Control liquid gels - 15 mg each. I took twenty which should be 300 mg of DXM.

I'll let you know if they start to kick in later.

Not sure if there is a syrup formula. I'll check next time I'm there.
 
Just saw elsewhere on bluelight that DXM can be notorious for a very long onset time. I haven't experienced this before, but I guess I will continue to be patient. Hopefully it will hit me eventually.

No I'm laughing @ the original poster cerebros, lol. He was like "I usually don't fuck around with this stuff but I don't have a car right now" & "I can understand where the singers are coming from" lolol. Just thought it was funny is all.

Oh lol. I just went back and read that and it was quite funny.

I admit I'm kind of a noob with DXM, though I'm a pretty solid veteran of LSD, shrooms, salvia, some mystery research chemical that was in a blue gel tab (that was VERY trippy and wish I could identify it, in fact i'm going to start a thread on that now), had a few rounds with DMT, 5-meo, and recently got to try K.

I thought you were laughing because my reaction was so typical of a DXM noob. 90 minutes in... where the heck is my trip?

I think it's creepin up slowly now.

Oh nah, lol. I wouldn't have room to laugh @ someone about DXM b/c I don't know shit about it. I thought it was an over the counter cough suppressant, but seems like it's something else from reading this thread.
