Hi everyone, this is my first time posting. I discovered Bluelight about two weeks ago, and i love it. Very nice to be able to talk to others that share your problems and habits.

I have been using oxy's for about a year or so. I never had a bad problem with them. Never used enough to suffer w/d's or money problems. Recently my dealer lived with me for about a month and a half, and a friend of ours sold him a large quantity of Fentanyl 75mg patches for practically nothing.

Thats when things took a turn for the worse. I bought a few because i liked them so much, and stole a bunch because the moron overcharges and is wasted on xanax so badly he does not notice. I tried so hard to stop using them, but the w/d symptoms are absolutely horrible. I can imagine its very close if not the same as heroine. I never saw myself in this situation and I cannot handle how depressed and guilty I feel.

So since I'm fairly new to opiate w/d's and I really dont want to go to a doctor for help, AND work is very slow so I'm broke as hell, my question is: Is there any other methods that would help me through this? How long will this last before I can feel normal again?

I'm having such a hard time with this, so any good advice will be very much appreciated.

Try to get a hold of some suboxone, and slowly lower your dose over a week or so, and it will ease you through the withdrawals.

Do not get suboxone. Just man up and go through them, and then take it as a lesson learned. Stop now before it's too late, because the withdrawals will progressively get worse as you go along. Especially since fentanyl is pretty short acting, your withdrawals should be over in 3-5 days tops.

Diesel is right. You have not been doing it that long, so the w/d's wont last more than 4-6 most, and should be fairly mild,
Learn from this lesson you put yourself into.
If your HAVE too, take ONE 7.5 mg vicoden of percocet a day, but no more than one, that helped me make it through my heroin w/d's. If you have the will power, you can do anything

Yeah now that I think about it suboxone might not be the best idea if you haven't been using that long. Your best bet is to just kick for 4 or 5 days and have it be done with. Keep yourself hydrated and try to eat.

Really the only thing that drives me crazy is the restless legs, and the insomnia that comes with it. The chills and sweating don't bother me so much. The restlessness in my limbs make me wanna crawl out of my skin.

Yeah I guess I'll just have to man up and deal with it. I have always heard about how bad opiate w/d's are, but I had no idea it was this bad. What blew me away is how much worse they are from these patches. Like I said, I never had a bad oc problem, but I have done them several days in a row and they don't even come close to how bad these patches are. Nasty shit I have gotten into. Thx for the suggestions.

ketamine can be pretty good at blocking out the physical discomfort in the evenings. Might not be your thing but I know it worked for me years ago - doesn't cure you completely but definitely takes your mind off the opiates and literally detaches you from you aching whinging body.

benzos help but can be just as addictive... some non-addictive alternatives...

valerian root (for anxiety/sleep)
kava kava (for anxiety/sleep)
magnesium (electrolyte)
potassium (electrolyte)
melatonin (sleep)
loperamide (squirts/stomach cramps/nausea)
marijuana (whatev)

Low on dough? Luckily subs are cheap at least around my neck of the woods. But if you can't get a hold of any for some reason, any benzo will help you out big time with that crushing anxiety, and sleep. But you take a high risk of developing a benzo habit, as the "goodness" of the benzos is amplified ten-fold by how bad the anxiety is that you are dealing with currently. Sounds gay, but stay positive (whatever that means to you) that's paramount here

Find some methadone or go to a clinic where your primary does not need to know shit about the problem. That's what I do.

That is a good way if you wanna not substitute for other opiates and not get hooked on anything else. I would add 5-HTP to build back up your serotonin levels though as well. It's what keeps your natural happiness.

i've heard a lot of really good things about making the transition from opiate addiction to fully clean using Kratom. also, benzos are decent to help you sleep but they in no way help with the massive depression that accompanies serious opie wd's. trust me, i'm in them right now and it almost feels like the clonazepam is making it worse in some ways.

And taper down if possible.
the patches can be cut in very small pieces and still serve their effect.
I slowed down my habit and ended up with a 16th of a path under my lip to keep wd as low as possible.
