Midazolam + tramadol

Might be for a little while, but midazolam is so short-acting you may feel annoyed when you still feel the trams but the midazolams suddenly disappear.

Sums it up well. One thing is that the Midazolam will lessen the chance of having a seizure :)
Anyway - Short lived but enjoyable for the time being ;)

Indeed. Any benzo will synergize with tramadol (adding sedation and muscle relaxation, as well as reducing seizure risk), but the best ones are long-lasting. Try clonazepam, nitrazepam, temazepam, or even basic ol' diazepam.

Xanax is almost just as short as midazolam, so unless you want a short peak in a long-lasting high, go for an intermediate-to-long-lasting benzodiazepine. In my experience, clonazepam and nitrazepam are the very best.
