Watched Leon extended cut on blu ray and cannot decide which version is better. First time I've watched a blu ray and it does look like reality and I've seen the standard version of Leon at the cinema and on vhs (a lot about 10 years ago).
Seemed that pretty much the extra 12 mins were in one heap and they do change the tone of the film. For the moment I'm actually going to say I prefer the other cut.
Also watched John Rambo on Blu ray which is clocked in at 13 or so mins more than the dvd, but apart from one scene couldn't work out where the extra came from.....could have easily been another 5 or so minutes in the ultra-carnage dénouement which just flashed me by.....oh look another big fucking explosion and yet more bullets cutting people to shit......
Fucking A team seemed to not be good from recollection.
Watched Inception at the cinema and got a general grasp of what was going on and read up further on it today and seems I was right.....it could have multiple meanings at once. Easier to understand than memento on first watch I thought. Much better film than Shutter Island, which though stunningly made sign-posted everything from the get-go.
Watched the Richard Donner cut of Superman 2 and it is definetly superior to the previous cut.
Unfortunately my home pc is fucked and so watching my horror collection is not happening currently.

You say that, but then go on imdb and find all the different threads detailing different meanings. Some people have obviously missed major points and built up bogus theories, but if you read the actual film FAQ (which is the longest I have seen on imdb) it will show you that you could watch it three times and get a different meaning each time. I was like that with memento, convinced I had it down first time, 2nd time, noticed various other things, third time noticed more and finally on the fourth watch I decided on my final theory.
Its not like a certain time travel film that just gets more and more complex the more you go into it and watch it, till you can't get your head round it at all on the fourth watch, though you thought you mainly had it figured on the first watch (Primer).
I can't be arsed to watch inception again, unless someone lends it me, since the online people are basically doing the rewatching for me and the consensus among the intelligentsia is that it could have 1, 2 or 3 meanings all at the same time.
I just watched it and took in the spectacle and had my own theory, but knew I had not got some of the things....although I do understand it as an action/adventure, but its way more than that.

I might watch Inception again the night, if I can't find anything better to do. I didn't think it was as great as everyone is making out though.
aye it was good and i could watch it again but i felt a little let down by it, i wanted more mindfuck less generic action movie shootouts
