MDMA Potentiating Pain?

Hey everyone,

I have pain in my lower back. When sober, it's minimal and I can deal with it, no pain killers etc. needed. Normally, when rolling the pain completely disappears so it's even better. However, the last two times I've rolled, the pain is amplified a lot, especially on the come-up, with last night being the worst it's ever been.

When I rolled last night I double dropped, and had some pain on the come-up and then it went down after that was finished. However, when I took my booster pills (accidentally took two instead of one because I forgot I took the booster and then took another one) the pain on the come-up was unbearable and excruciating. I had to go and sit down, clench my fists, close my eyes, and focus on getting rid of the pain. My friends I was with were worried about me, and then of course I felt bad for bringing them down. Once the second come-up finished I was once again ok, but the pain was still amplified compared to when I am sober.

I was wondering if anyone had similar experiences with MDMA causing pain? Suggestions? Thanks.

No this has never happened to me either.
I find that e generally does the opposite and has a mild pain-relieving effect.
Sounds like a bummer, could it be something to do with tension?
 
My friend told me its the speed in the pill that makes your back hurt during the come down. It never happened to me before until i went on this 2 night binge and now my lower back hurts like a mother fucker...........:(
 
I would guess that maybe you were dancing rigorously, or maybe you slept weird. IME I've only had pain go away so it's probably either something un related or something that you're doing while under the influence.

Well, the pills were reagent tested to be clean; they had a pretty high dose of MDxx though, that's for sure. It was the only time I've ever felt even close to puking (although I still didn't). Sorry to hear you're in pain too.

Like I said, my back has been fucked up for a while but the pain has never been nearly that bad. And I don't really think it has to do with my activity, although it was fairly rigorous because of how much the pain increased during the come-up compared to just the plateau of my roll.
 
Have you been to the doctor? thats the only way you'll know whats causing the back pain. Hate to be a dick but strangers on an internet forum can't diagnose what caused this.

If anything all the random muscle tension is probably making whatevers hurting in your back tense up and hurt..

It could have been more mental than physical. Maybe you were expecting to feel pain and your mental state of focussing on the pain more and more amplified it?
 
I have to agree on seeing a Dr. They can at least run some tests to see if you have a bulging disk, etc. I would hate for it to be something medically fixable and you only going off advice from any of us. I know that quite a few of us are very educated, but can't diagnose physical pain by hearing symptoms alone. Good luck :)

Yes, I realize that going to a doctor would be the best option, but I don't have a lot of spare time lately. I was mostly curious if anyone here had similar problems of MDMA causing pain.
 
Hate to bump an old thread but thought I would check in.

Got here because I experienced the same thing a couple of nights ago, at first worried that it could have been liver or kidney pain but I think it's because of a poor pip/speedy pill I did before I bombed down some mandy.

When I used those poor pills beforehand they didn't hurt my back but they made me stretch my lower back a lot without realising. A little afterwards I had slight tension pain from those experiences.

I would imagine this may not be the route of your problem or maybe that you've fixed your problem but I just thought I'd contribute for anyone else who google's their problem like I did. Amphetamines taken separately from or cut with MDMA in the same night may cause something like this. Harm prevention and all that :)
 
i was thinking that it could be caused just be tense and overstimulation of the back muscles. does the pain change or go away if you lay down or change positions?
 
It always kills pain for me, i had a killer canker sore one time and i rolled and i couldn't feel shit. was nicee haha.
 
X and Painkillers

So my first time rolling i took 2 and half pills. one and a half of the pills were mostly shit, but i got them for free so im not complaining. and one of the pills was okay. the point is i didn't roll that hard off 2 and half "ecstasy" pills. i was also on 3 vikadins (don't remember the mgs) i took them cause i fucked up my knee the week before i took the rolls and went to the show. for my next show i plan to get molly to make sure i roll my face, but my knee is still bugging me so i want to take pain killers also (i can't dance my ass off with a bum knee). my question is if i'm taking painkillers with MDMA will it reduce my roll at all?
 
Taking pain killers will dampen your roll. It is a waste of good drugs (or bad drugs, in your case) mixing the two. Save the vicodin for when you are coming down. Also, using pain killers so you can dance through an injury is probably not a good idea.

If you didn't roll off two and a half pills, you are probably getting fake or weak pills. You really should test your shit, as a very high percentage of what is being sold as MDMA is fake. Opietes dampen the effects of the roll and is best saved for the come down like
projectwill said. It is also not that great of an idea to take things together that do opisite things to your heart.
 
sweet, thanks guys. i've always kind of wondered the purpose of getting a test kit though. if i get bad drugs, im still stuck with bad drugs. might as well take em IMO cause im pretty sure most drug dealers don't give receipts haha
 
Test before you buy.

If you have ever taken a roll that turned out to be piperazine or some other bullshit, it really sucks to say the least. It can be a total fucking bummer and dangerous as well. $25 is worth ensuring that doesn't happen.

It's a cheap and easy way to stay safe.
 
Yes, but ones who want to keep their customers are careful to avoid selling them bunk products and IME don't mind finding out what they are actually selling.
