Freebasing cocaine with ammonia

Hello bluelight. I come to you tonight with some freebase questions. I got some ammonia to freebase cocaine since I've always wasted most of my goods trying to make rocks with baking soda.

So I make a solution of the cocaine.hcl in water, then slowly add ammonia and stir until no more precipitate forms. I'm not having any trouble with that part, but after the precipitate forms I can't get it to form rocks of any significant size. If I stir it and heat it, the particles start to clump together but only ONCE did it actually all form into big particles. When it made large particles i could easily separate it, either with a filter or just by stirring more to clump it all into one large rock.

Most of the time however they stay really small particles, and when I try to filter it, the base particles all stick into the filter, resulting in complete loss!!

What am I doing wrong? The one time that it worked it worked so well!!! how come most of the time the particles stay so small? there has to be a trick to getting the particles to clump up so they can be separated

Also I know that it would probably be a lot easier to separate it from the water using ether and then drying to get my freebase. I have some starter fluid that is ether, but it also has hexane in it. Would this work?

when i used to make rocks using cocaine and amonia i just crushed the powder as fine as i could get it and add to a lare spoon and then drop just enough amonia to cover the powder leaving it in a small puddlel in the spoon. i then heated this very slowlay with a lighter from underneith and made a small swiring fashion this would alow the rock to form in the middle of the spoon (make sure not to let the amonia bubble as this can fuck it up) after the rock was formed i would use an empty tea bag as a filter remove the rock from the spoon and pace in the riped open empty tea bag and ran it under watter to remove all excess amonia. if i didnt have time i would then use a hair dryer to dry the substance but found it better to let it dry out under a light or on kitchien paper.

i never had a problem using this method and is best all round.

Ammonia is best for large amounts, what are you talking about? Baking soda sucks, period.

Yeah i always preffered the stuff made from ammonia as it was usually of better quality. By the way your not smoking freebase your still smoking good ol crack. I love it when people say there freebasing instead of rocking up

I have some starter fluid that is ether, but it also has hexane in it. Would this work?

you could (kinda) extract the pure ether from the starting fluid. there are lots of methods online... just make sure the fluid's active ingredient is diethyl-ether. i would type out my method for you but i nodded off on dope last night and spilled water all over my keyboard and now i'm forced to type using the stupid windows xp 'on-screen keyboard' sorry!

I might be wrong, but doesnt using a cold instrument to stir (like a nail outta the freezer) cause most of the particles to stick to it, then you just scrape them off that?

only with the soda method... and it still doesn't work near as well as the ammonia method.
