Recently, a relatively well-meaning associate has started to spread the hyperelves message (for profit alas) amongst a pretty damn large group of younguns. many of these cat's are just not ready for it at all, on many many levels. I've tried to talk to him about why this is not the best thing to do, and in fact is probably just plain wrong (especially the profit motive). Anyone have any advice on how i might be able to illustrate to him the gravity of blowing a 16 year old kids mind sky high on dmt with little to no spiritual preperation for the kids future? the karmic repercussions for himself?
some of the voyagers are having a blast and doing it on lunch break at the hs, others are freaking the fuck out and showing signs of ptsd.. alas horatio, your a burnt out shell..........
 
What are you talking about? Humans are born ready for DMT.

What kind of PTSD symptoms are you observing?
 
The profit motive saddens me. :/

This kind of peddling could bring more unwanted attention from the authoritaahs. Badness. What happens when a parent inevitably finds out? They'll freak, and demand something be done. The politicians will be seen legislating and "fixing the problem"... and meanwhile, all of us innocent psych users end up paying for his profiteering, by being either caught in the crossfire, or supplies being intercepted.

Please, have your friend take more care. When people aren't ready to be turned on, they panic and cause bad reactions in society.
 
your friend needs to start slanging skag to take the heat off the psychedelic community

everyone's ready for it. DMT takes you to where your ready for. It'll start out slow before it show's you the 'ultimate control'. I think you should maybe get some mimosa and do your own extraction and pass it around for free :)
 
i have wanted N-N-DMT for a long time. how easy is it to extract this stuff??

This is a bad, disturbing situation.

Bad, bad, bad, and disturbing.

DMT should be given out of love, not sold for profit (as a general rule with few exceptions).

You're in a tough situation, man. Because you ought to find a way to get that DMT away from that guy who's selling it; preferably without stealing or using force.

If you don't do it, nobody else will.

You could save some kid's mind from having to come to terms with some really far-out shit way before it's ready to.

^There's nothing technically 'wrong' with selling DMT, if done in good conscience (although I find it distasteful in many instances).

But the OP is not describing the simplified case you are referring to; in the situation described by the OP, someone is selling DMT unscrupulously. Since it is such a powerfully mind-warping substance, that situation is scary and potentially dangerous.
 
I agree with Roger&Me. If your friend actually gave a shit about the people he sells to, he'd at least offer them some information somehow on why DMT might be really scary and disorienting and unpleasant for someone who isn't ready for it. Encourage your friend to give a shit in every way you can.
 
^Indeed, it could be so disorienting and unpleasant; it's capable of catching someone so off-guard, that they could be put at significant risk of experiencing psychiatric problems.

I'm just trying to emphasize to everyone that DMT is not a toy. It is capable of fucking your mind so catastrophically, so completely...... just don't push it with DMT is all I'm trying to say: treat it with utmost respect at all times.

I've been to the heavens with DMT, but also to some very deep and terrifying hells. Time moving backwards and shit, getting thrown into singularities.... an unprepared mind would not be able to handle that.
 
He called the friend "well-meaning" and claimed he was actively "spreading the hyperelves message". That sounds to me like he is probably offering people information.

I didn't hear anything unscrupulous at all in the scenario; the OP just has weird hangups about what it means to be "prepared" for a psychedelic.
 
Well, in the way I read it:

He's selling it to high-school kids who are smoking it on their lunch breaks and wigging out and shit. Sounds unscrupulous to me, man...

nor to a prepared mind, at least I thought I was prepared, I had been smoking dmt for so long and then all of a sudden one day its like I just snapped, went into a compeltely schizophrenic (though I honestly believe what happened, but when I explain it to others, its completely schizophrenic). I think I've got PTSD from it. ever since i've been stuck in a state of hypervigalance.

What are you talking about? In what way are 'human's born ready for DMT', and can you provide supporting evidence, or are you merely expressing some quasi-religious dogma?

Remember the primary raison d'etre of this forum is harm reduction - there is plenty of anecdotal evidence to suggest that use of DMT can cause lasting mental trauma in some people.

Do you know what karma is? It is not something that makes bad things happen to bad people, otherwise Dick Cheney would have anal cancer.

I would simply tell him that young kids invariably snitch or at least talk a lot about the cool new drugs they found, and juries like to bury people that sell drugs to kids under the jail. Kids get pulled over and busted for driving recklessly with drugs in their cars. Kids brag to other kids, and kids are easily intimidated by cops who want them to snitch. If he is motivated by profit, then he should be equally motivated by the possibility of getting raped by a judge. I've known of cases of people who went to jail for selling pot to kids under 18, when police and prosecutor never even had any drugs to enter as evidence, and that was pot. One or two kids who testify that this guy gave them DMT, and he will at the very least go into debt trying to defend himself, and at most spend a long time in jail.

lol. I wasn't ready thats for goddamn sure.
First time walking through the tek.
iI obviously fucked everything up from the beginning as most of us would do on their first walk through.

Ended up getting some very very impure naptha that ended up giving us blue DMT crystals.

once we finally realized that we had shitty naptha and went to get better stuff.
We had like 2 grams of this really greasey just chemical preservative covered....dmt... so we sighed
and started again.

Once we ended up getting about 2 grams of bright orange crystals
my friend adam hit the pipe gently so gently. and he said nothing happened.

So i said GIVE ME THAT and i took the fattest rip imaginable.

i ran into the kitchen clutching my head laughing and screaming HOLY SWEET MOTHER OF MERCY IT WORKED and then i would laugh insanely hard. and then scream IT WORKED again
Amazingly beautiful patterns of infinite impossibility where everywhere.

i fell down laughing on the kitchen floor and for about 15-20 minutes all i did was laugh praise god and say it worked.

Adam and Joe were then more than excited to take a toke.

DMT beautiful... I only had 1 dark trip but it easily corrected itself.
