iv black tar too dark

Even if you can't tell a difference in color you should be able to see what looks like a bubble when you pull the plunger back if you aren't in a vein for blood to fill it in.

Yes you can plug it, it won't be a waste except that you won't get a rush.

Wouldn't the easiest solution be to get some larger syringes and dilute the concentration of your shots by just a bit?
It might take longer to release all of the fluid into your blood stream, but that's a small price to pay for less damage done to the veins and your desired indicator.

Some tar is so dark it would take an insane amount (5-10ml+) to get it lighter than your blood. I used to get stuff like this all the time.. it makes it very hard to register in a dark/dim room.
OP - Try putting a bright lamp directed on the syringe, it makes it a little easier to see when you flag.

Damn 5-10ml??
Damn that is some dark shit if you have to put 5 to 10ml more to make it the color of blood...thats 500 to 1000 units insulin syringe...damn 5 to 10 100 unit rigs full to make it that light?! Wow i am amazed at that...I'm in South Central US near memphis are and Missouri border areas and all we get here is powder and it;s good powder form up I-55 from New Orleans or down from Chicago usually or St.Louis..I have seen tar around, the mexicans try to sell it but they don't have much luck here really,,because there is good powder and tar looks so dirty and nasty people are afraid it's total garbage and won't buy it unless the are deseprate or have moved here from a place where tar is all over like Texas to Cali and all the west and rockie mtn. areas...but they only smoke it when I have seen them do it,althoguh they inject powder ....dunno about that tar....

when you pull back if the the amount of liquid in the syringe becomes bigger then its obviously filling up with blood even though you can see it.
^^ Yeah it's funny to me how black tar gets such a bad rap based solely on what it looks like. I'm fine with everyone disliking it.

from all I have heard it is worse than powder on veins
I do know that black tar is harder (more damaging on the veins than powder heroin(depending on the cuts of course)....I am going to New Mexico in October for about 3 to 4 weeks and I read that the average purity of tar there is about 60%, with limited amounts of mexican brown powder heroin(not tar mixed with a cut and made powdery,,the real mexican brown powder,seems it is more available now in a few places,and comes at pretty high puritys at the uppper levels anyway)..they say that average purity of mexican brown powder heroin in NM is 70% ...altho heroin in NM is more expensive than in Cali..and Arizonia and Texas, i think it is because it is higher purity on average,because they definetley are by the border,El Paso is just a few miles south of New Mexico/Texas border,and then a short ways to juarez which I won't go back to like I used to in the late 90's with a half anglo/hlaf chicano friend from El Paso whose uncle and some family live sin juarez and had connects there...lol of course.We usually went to the pharmacys down there and then had his uncle get us a big bag of really good coke for cheap and we partied in juarez till the blow was gone and came back accross the pedistrian foot bridge into El Paso with some pharms we got..what we had left that we could legally bring back that is..Not anymore Juarez is Murder City now cause of the fucking DEA and the Mexican presidents idoitic plan to rid mexico of drug cartels(wtf is he on i wonder? lol he must be smoking wet to vthink that will ever happen)

you don't need to see your dope turn red to know that you're filling your rig with blood.
if you're not in, you'll pull back and see your rig filling up with air and if you're in... blood will displace the air/dope. next time you register, instead of the usual tiny squirt of blood, don't be afraid to pull in 10-15 units of blood. that way, if your rig fills back up with fluid, rather than air..., you know you're in.
it's all going back into your arm anyways!
